"Miss Y/n! Do you think my old co-trainees can beat the titans!!" Eren yelled "What?! Well of course!! Have a little faith in them!" Y/n yelled back
This is the plan commander Erwin came up with, thanks to this formation the survival rate has risen dramatically. The new recruits had one month to learn the Long-Distant enemy scouting formation.
Everyone went off to their assigned location, the new recruits heading for their first expedition in the Survey Corps
Soldiers are spread out over a long distance with a semicircular formation in front, but are spaced out evenly to ensure we can see in all directions. As much as possible, we spread out enemy scouting communications and the perimeter.
The new cadets will be in between the wagon support team and the scouting support team, they'll be in charge of communication and keeping pace with the spare horses.
Primarily the enemy scouts in the first column will come across a titan first. When they do, they'll fire off a red flare. When we see a red flare we'll fire off our own to pass on the warning.
This way Commander Erwin who leads from the front will know the titans position as quickly as possible. Then he'll fire off a green flare, this signal means the entire camp is altering its course and heading a new direction. To inform the whole formation of the new direction everyone fires off a green flare towards the new course.
In the second column third: communication, Sasha rode her horse past some houses and came across a crawling titan "Ah! Gotta...Gotta shoot off a red flare!" She mumbled fidgeting with her flare gun and accidentally dropped the red flare
"EEK!" Sasha began panicking "Oh no the scout missed one!" A nearby soldier fired his own red flare, following his Captain
"Let's lure it over this way!"
"Sasha over here!!" The soldier yelled "Ride this way!" The Captain yelled, gripping her reins "Ungh!" Sasha took a sharp turn
The other two men went in front of the crawling titan gaining its attention and drawing it away from Sasha saving her from it
"Over here asshole!" The titan began chasing the two men completely forgetting about Sasha "Hah" Sasha sighed in relief
The soldier parted from his Captain and left the titan to him, the captain quickly reacted and raced to the tree in front of him
With hope the Captain went around the tree and lead the titan to bash its head against the tree, breaking it instantly but stopped chasing after the humans
The Captain went back over to Sasha "Return to your station this ones out of juice." He ordered "Yes squad leader!" Sasha nodded
In the second column fourth: communication Armin traveled alone with an extra horse by his side "It's been a while since the red signal was fired, but the formation is still chaos." He mumbled
Seconds after he said that, to his left a black flare was fired "Oh no! Thats...a black flare!" He exclaimed
"It's ignoring everyone and heading straight for the center of the formation?! There's no doubt this one is a...abnormal!!" Squad leader Ness yelled chasing after the abnormal with Siss, a scout soldier
When it comes to the abnormals and their unpredictable behavior, there's no choice but to fight.
"Damn it! We'll have to kill it." Squad leader ness pulled out his blade "Siss!! You get the neck!! I'll get it to stop!!"
"Roger!" Siss pulled out his blade and lifted it up ready to go, Ness hooked his gear onto the abnormals ankle. With full concern of knowing he may not succeed
Using gas we slid on the ground and used all his power to cut through the titans ankle "Hunh!!" He grunted
The titan tripped and feel down "Now Siss!!" Ness yelled, Siss got off his horse and hooked to the abnormals nape, using gas he flew straight for the nape and managed to get a clean cut
Armin watched from afar "You did it! Squad leader Ness!" He said in awe
"I did it!" Siss said watching the titans corpse evaporate, he looked to the side and there was his horse "You came back for me Huh? That's my girl!" He climbed on his horse

Just as Squad leader Ness and cadet Siss were about to get back in formation loud thumping foot steps were heard behind them
Looking back they spotted a titan "Another one?" Ness asked "What the hell are the right flank scouts doing?"
"Well if it ignored them and it's coming this way... it's probably another abnormal" Siss said "Right, guess we have no choice...same operation one more time Siss!!" Ness nodded to Siss "Yes sir!" Siss nodded back
The abnormal titan caught up to the two... Armin still watching not to far away got his flare gun and fired a red flare "What is that? It's moving to fast!" Armin said already spectacle about the titan
"No!! They're right in its path!"
"Shit!" Ness said looking back at the titan, the titan stepped between them and didn't stop running "It's heading for Armin! Don't let it go! Siss!"
"Right!" They both jumped off their horse and tried their duo attack once more, just as Siss hooked onto its shoulder the titan brought its hand up and crushed him
Captain Ness hooked onto its nape also but the titan got ahold of his gear "Huh?!" Ness said before being thrown down onto the ground, he died
Armin watched the terror "No... it's not! That's not an abnormal! Squad leader Ness please tell me!..."
"What should I do?!...it's not a normal or abnormal titan...that one...is intelligent just like the colossal titan...the Armored titan and...Eren!"
"Then it must be a human in the body of a titan!! But who!! Why? Why would anyone do this?! This is bad what do it do?!" The titan caught up to Armin and is right behind him "I'm gonna die too!! It's gonna kill me!!"
The first column tenth: scouts, every soldier positioned here are all either dead or injured, titan surrounded the place "S-Somebody tell the others... right flank scouting squad is nearly...wiped out." A soldier being eaten alive said
"A female type...led a horde of titans here...isn't anybody left?... the formation is gonna be destroyed..." a titan placed the mans head between its teeth
