"Connie!Are there any survivors!?" Reiner asked running up to him with Bertholdt "No." Reiner and Bertholdt stopped running towards him
"Gone...it's...all over there's...no one here." Connie said with a serious tone "My home is gone." Connie finished
Reiner looked at him sadden and lowered his head, he placed a hand on Connies shoulder to comfort him
Bertholdt watched as Reiner did so and only gulped while sweating from his face
"Hey...somethings off.Has anyone seen any bodies?" Said Gelgar, a soldier in the Survey Corps
Reiner,Connie, and Bertholdt froze and thought for a second.Connie stayed silent while Reiner and Bertholdt replied "No." Reiner said "I haven't seen any." Bertholdt said
"Is that even possible?Could a titan really wipe out a village without leaving a single drop of blood behind?" Gelgar asked Lynne a female soldier
"They must have all fled." Lynne guessed "There's no way a titan could eat them and leave no trace.Meaning that no one in the village was eaten,including your family I'm sure of it!" Lynne said making Connie gain hope "They must have seen the titans before it was to late." Lynne continued
Connie stopped crying and stared at the women "Yeah...your right!" Connie smiled and stepped forwards
"Sure they must have left here hours ago.I bet they're already on the other side of wall Sina." Lynne glanced back at Gelgar
Gelgar looked around, he knew something wasn't adding up.Why would titans destroy a village of empty houses?
Looking a the stables, Gelgar noticed that all the horses were still lined up.People know you can't run from a titan without one...that is unless you have Chakra.
Gelgar stayed silent.He couldn't show that stable to Connie.
"Are the torches ready?" Gelgar asked looking back from his shoulder to them, they nodded
"We're going to go from here to locate the damaged area of wall Rose." Gelgar ordered getting on his horse "We're heading out."
Connie looked at the titan on top of the house again before running to his horse and climbing up "Welcome home..."
Connie gasped and his eyes bolted open, he slowly turned his head back to the titan "Huh?Did it just..." he stared at it
Reiner snapped Connie out of his gaze with his yelling "Hey Connie!Hurry up!We're going to fall behind Gelgar and the others!" Reiner pulled his arm
"Reiner!Did you just hear that? It just-" Connie got cut off by Reiner "I didn't hear anything!Anyway stop talking and focus on your mission!" Reiner yelled at him
