Sage sat weakly on the steps with Mia who had asked her if she was ok for the fiftieth time now, the youngest Toretto concluded that the bullet wasn't there and it had just, just missed her artery, thankfully it had only pierced through her skin
"We need to move, we don't have that much time" Dom spoke as he appeared from where Vince had unfortunately been laying "I got us a flight out, we can leave Rio in the rearview in the next five hours" Han retorted but the words made Dom pause and turn to face the team
"Not to run away, to finish the job" The Toretto's words stunned everyone minus Sage, she knew he was too stubborn to let the opportunity go and it was only a matter of time before something happened that would make the rest doubt the job "Are you crazy Dom? We can't"
"It's a suicide mission, that's your man over there on the table. The plan is busted, this is bullshit man. Reyes knows we're coming"
"He's right, they tripled the detail at the police station, there's gonna be a wall of gunfire" Tej's agreement made Sage sigh "Reyes doesn't get away with this"
"It's a trap man, you know that" The Korean man added to the list of statements, "Dom, listen to them, run before it's too late. Leave Rio, you can be free"
"Running ain't freedom, you should know that" The older Toretto lowered his voice before looking back at the team "You know you're all free to make your own choices" The team sighed and shook their heads uneasily at the statement, Sage stood up despite the stinging agony, Mia trying to help the woman but she reassured Mia that she was fine
The woman walked past the team and managed to get up the steps without any help, she joined Dom and wrapped her left arm around his torso "I'm with you, you know that" The reassurance made Dom nod and press a kiss to Sage's head "I'm in" Hobbs words made everyone glance at him with frowns
"I'll ride with you Torreto, at least until we kill that son of a bitch" Faint smiles appeared on Dom, Sage and Elena's faces, the older Toretto giving a grateful nod towards him
"So what's the plan, Dom? We can't just go sneakin' around anymore" Brian spoke to, "We don't sneak"
"Only thing he cares about is his money, we pull that, we pull him" Sage spoke looking at Hobbs and the rest of the team
Really short chapter put the next one will be them pulling off the job, I wanted it to be everything in one or two chapters.
