Chapter 1: Mr. Boo

MCC 14: in real life! The headline for the event shows up on my monitor. "Am I
ready to meet all the influencers?" It would be a little weird considering that I'm a minor. I'm only 17 so I feel a little awkward going to an event that's full of adults but I want to be more involved in the community. As I'm staring at the google form in front of me I start to overthink the questions.

"Will I be competitive? I don't care if I win. Especially when we're going to be in real life. I'll put 'for fun' but I don't care." My fingers glide across my keyboard as I grab my mouse to finish filling everything in. It will take place in Brighton... I think for a moment, I can't travel across the world by myself. I click that I will participate and send my forum in. The worst that can happen is that dream accidentally leaks his face. I go back to my discord and interact with my fans. Not just sending hearts when they say that I saved their life. I thank everyone and talk in general having genuine conversations with everyone. People started joining the server after I gave the link. I sit back and smile. "They say I saved their lives but I think the feeling is mutual." I say to myself.

I grab a plate of food and bring it to my room. I eat for a little before I start my
stream. I talk to my chat for a couple minutes waiting for the notification to be sent out. When I had about 2k I fully started.

"Hi everyone who just joined. I sent the ping on discord as well. So today it's a
chill stream with some bedwars and fun vibes!" I say changing from the 'starting soon' screen to minecraft and my facecam in the corner. I'm decently good at PVP and I can parkour pretty well. That's how I got into MCC 13 but the real life one. It's physical traits and brain works something I don't have but I get to cosplay my minecraft skin, I'm all for it. I start playing the game and focusing on winning.
"I swear if Technoblade is in this game I will go feral." I say as I'm fighting
someone who has been targeting me.
"Maybe I should have a nickname..." I say after getting killed by someone. I spectate the game as the person who killed me wins. Suddenly my chat starts to freak out. Spamming in the chat. "What guys? The person who won nicked themself Bored. I don't understand?" Suddenly I get a discord dm from someone. "One sec guys." I click discord on my other monitor. Somebody named "Ranboo" had sent me a DM.

'Good game! You're really good at PVP we should 1v1 sometime - Bored'

"Guys what is a Ranboo? And why did I get a DM from them? Should I 1v1 them?" My chat spams yes. They explained that Ranboo is a streamer who got raided by Punz and Phi1zA a little while back and built up his following and he recently got onto the Dream SMP.
"Free clout? Okay bet. How to 1v1 person nicknamed bored." I joke as I send him
a DM back.

'1v1 me for free clout' I respond, getting an invite moments after. We start our battles as they are pretty close in battle but yet he remains victorious. I open me and his discord DMs and call him. "Hello" Oh god his voice is so deep.
"Woah, you're real." I joke as he laughs. "Good job Mr. Boo." I say as we start up another match. "So Mr. Boo how do you actually pronounce your name?" I ask as the match ties.

"Ran-boo Like it's spelled basically. I don't know how I came up with it but thats who I am. How did you come up with your name?" He asks, my gamertag is "bay-bee."

"Well my name is Bee so I thought it would be funny to call myself bay-bee." I yell the last bit because he killed me. "Mr. Boo even though we just met I hate you." I laugh with a lighthearted tone. "What is your skin? I just realized it's like enderman but not?"
"It's half enderman and ghast with a crown because why not. Your skin is literally a girl that looks like a deer!" He says as me and him start criticizing everything in a joking manner.
"Bee I'm gonna end my stream. Is your Twitch name the same as your gamertag?" He asks.
"Yeah I'm gonna stream for another couple hours." I say, he muted as he ended his stream. I ran around the Hypixel lobby waiting for him to unmute.
"Okay I raided you Bee." He says. I wait for my chat to update.
"WHAT you had seventeen thousand viewers?! That's so many" I say as he
chuckles a little. "You gonna get off or do you wanna play a couple rounds of bedwars?" I ask. He invites me to a party.
"Lets play a couple rounds. I don't want to leave you cloutless." He says. We play
three rounds of bedwars before he logs off.
"Thank you Mr. Boo it was nice meeting you, and kicking your butt in bedwars." I
say before he hangs up. "Well guys I'm going to end my stream here as well. Thank you all for coming and seeing me make a new friend. I will probably be streaming everyday. See you all later!" I wave to my camera ending my stream. My discord call noise goes off. I answer at the tone. "What would you like Mr. Boo?" I ask.
"Thanks for today, it was nice to finally stream with someone else." I spoke soft, trying to not seem so straight forward.
"You're welcome, it was fun being able to play with someone my age. Most people think I'm like 20 but in reality I'm still a minor." He explained.
"Oooh are you the life reveal soon kind of streamer? Like doesn't show face?" I ask.
"Yeah, it's a bit stressful because people are constantly asking for a face reveal but I just wanna be me, doesn't matter what I look like or how tall I am." He says he sounded a little frustrated but I understood it.

"Well how tall are you? If you don't mind me asking of course." I ask. He laughs for a moment.
"I'm 6'6 believe it or not. Look at my tiktok I've cosplayed my character and still managed to hide my face. I'm a genius." I grab my phone as he speaks and look up RanbooLive.
"You're almost at a million on here!" I say in excitement. I just met this guy but I was happy for him. He's young and hitting milestones at a fast rate. I scroll through the videos, mostly just him being funny but this one video caught my attention. "You're the Walmart Technoblade?" I joke after playing the video, I've watched it at least 5 times.
"Yeah it's pretty funny because my character has a crown like Techno and we both have deep voices. At least I think it's funny." He says, starting to ramble.
"I like it." I smile. "Oh wait are you going to be in MCC 14?" I ask.
"I'm 'banned' from MCC but yes, I sent my form in this morning. I can't wait, it's
my first MCC and although it's not a regular MCC I can't wait." He sounds excited and rushed.
"Oh my god what if we get on the same team. Me you Tommy and Tubbo-"
"The magenta minors!" He yells and both of us start laughing.
"Oh gods you did not just say that-" I say in between my laughing fits. Once we
both calmed down we said our goodbyes.
"It was nice meeting you Mr. Boo. Until next time."
"Bye Bee!" He says before I click the end call button. I sigh starting at the messages sent. I click back on my discord server and say my good nights to my fans. I don't think I could ever ignore them at all. They make up who I am.

I chuckle as I shut my PC off for the night and head to bed, school sadly is still a
thing for me. As I lay in bed staring at my ceiling I can't help but wonder what today would have been like if I hadn't played bedwars. If I hadn't joined the same game as him. "This could be the start of an amazing friendship." I grab my phone and scroll through Instagram.
