Chapter 6

(Dicks Prov)

I really have to think about what we are going to do. I cant just think about my self, im the leader so I have to take in what they think and what would be best for them. Im also a father, would them being here put my children in even more danger?? Or would it do nothing and they would continue living their lives how it is. Would the team be able to handle them following us around and not get distracted by knowing they are watching

There are so many things that go into consideration on choosing. On top of all of that would I be able to face them again after what happened. We havnt seen each other in 9 years, they have no clue who I am so I could get away with that. But since they seen the way I fight and the fact that I look the exact same exept im taller and buffer, they might figure it out. If that happens then what 

"I say we....I....let me think about it" I say

I look up to see everyone nod. Even though this also involes them they all know how hard it would be for me and understand I need time to think about this. They are willing to wait to make sure im ok with this, I couldnt have asked for better friends, a better family

"Sleep on it dude. Just you know dont take to long since they are watching us" Beast boy said 

I chuckled "Dont worry I wont take that long, for now though we need to act like nothing is wrong and that we dont know anything or else they will face us without us choosing"

"Well in that case, lets get food going. Im sure John and the girls are even more hungry. I know I am" Jinx said 

"Whos turn is it to cook" I asked 

"I think its Cyborg turn" Star said 

"That seems right, since yesterday we had pizza since it was BBs turn" Jinx said 

"I still dont understand how you guys didnt like my food" Beast Boy pouted

We all laughed. Everyone went to do their own things. Raven was reading, Beast boy and Star went to go play with the kids till dinner was done, Jinx went and helped Cy in the kitchen. I went to the gym to work out and clear my mind

It was 60 minuets later when Mar'i and Arella came running in to the gym

"Dinners ready" They both said and then ran away

I laughed at their antics. I grabbed the towal and whipped off my sweat, got changed and then went to the dinning room. Arella was in between Beast boy and Raven, next to Beast boy was Jinx and then Cyborg. On the other side Star was sitting with Mar'i on her left and John in the highchair on her right. There was a spot open next to Mar'i and that were I sat

"What are we eating today" I asked 

"Well we have this wonderful thing called Chicken with a cream of chicken rise. Then as your side dish we have oh so wonderful cornbread" Cyborg said like he was a master chief

 The two girls laughed, it was always funny when Cyborg cooked because he would serve and present the food like he was either a master chief or he was on a cooking show

"Quite an instresting food selection we have here today" Star said 

"Well the cornbread was because the girls said that they wanted it. Then the chicken and rise was easy to cook and plus this way little John has something that is easy for him to eat" Cyborg said

We all nodded and then dug into it. I dished out Mar'is food while Star got a plate going for John. As we were eating we were talking and laughing our heads off. By the end of it we were all stuffed, there was only a few pieces of chicken and corn bread left over. Me and Cyborg cleaned off the table while everyone else went to the living room to watch a movie
