2nd Person Narrative:

Warnings: Mention of abuse and torture

Pushing through the doors, you ran as fast you could not looking back. Once you were a good few hundred meters away from the lab, you stopped to catch your breath.

You were free, finally free from that horrendous place. Hawkins Laboratory.

Leaning against a tree, you sighed and then frowned. "Where am I supposed to go now?" you thought.

You looked around and found a few things here and there. Wrappers, empty cans, random litter and eventually you found twenty bucks.

Escaping Hawkins Lab was no easy task. You were taken there when you were only three years old. There, the scientists found out you had special powers. Telekinesis, teleportation and mind-reading. (i love five hargreeves pls don't judge me 💀)

You were one of the few kids at that place that got an education. Apparently, the more knowledge you had, the more developed your powers became. So, you could read, write and speak exceptionally well, as you were incredibly gifted. But they got you to abuse your powers and tortured you if you didn't comply.

You had tried teleporting out of the lab but that never worked because of special enforcements Dr. Brenner put outside of the building, which always put you back in the same place you started from.

Not this time though. You had narrowly escaped. Using your telekinesis, you had fought your way out of there and you succeeded, killing a good amount of the orderly. Hey, you had no choice, it was either kill or be killed.

You teleported to an abandoned shack in the middle of the woods and decided it was adequate for survival, at least for now. You found some old clothes in there and put them on. Anything was better than the thin nightdress you had on.

Then, you teleported to the edge of the small town, and headed to the supermarket, getting some weird glances and stares every minute or two.

You got some eggo's and payed for them with the money you found.

Once you were out of sight and at the outskirts of Hawkins, you glanced back and teleported out of there. Heck, you didn't know where you were going but anywhere was better than Hawkins.

Q: What is your favourite TV show?

A: Well, at the time i am editing this (2022), my favorite TV show would have to be The Umbrella Academy due to Season Three coming out a few weeks ago :D
