Narrators POV •

Y/N was waiting on the rest of the Losers to come down to the quarry.

The girl sighed and looked up. The losers were all 10 minutes late. What had happened to them? Were they in danger?

Suddenly Y/N heard the scraping sound of tires on the ground and spun around.

She grinned and walked up to them. "What took you all so long?" Y/N exclaimed.

"Wu-wuh-we got delayed by Richie" Bill laughed.

"Oh, of course" Y/N replies, rolling her eyes.

"Wanna play loogie?" Eddie asks excitedly.

"What's that?" Y/N asks.

"Here watch us!" Richie smirked.

Y/N's POV •
I noticed Beverly hadn't arrived yet but I pushed that out of my mind, so I turned to face the boys.

First Richie spat over the cliff and it got pretty far, I'm not gonna lie.

Then Stan spat. It went a little less further than Richies. "Uh, so it's a spitting competition?" I ask.

"Pretty much" Stanley shrugged.

Then all the others went. All while Richie smirked saying "Too easy!".

Poor Eddies didn't even get over the cliff.

"Oh my god that was terrible, I win!!!" Richie yelled.

"Uh you won?" Eddie argued. I rolled my eyes. Honestly, boys and their "precious" spitting competitions.

"Did you see how far my loogie went?!!"-
"It's about mass! It's always been mass!"-
"What?! What is mass?!"-
"Who cares how far it goes?!! It matters how it looks whether it's green or white, or juicy and fat!"-

This went on for a while until I had had enough.

Going over to the boys, I spat further and bigger than Richie and Eddie.

"There, distance and mass!" I shrug and walk away, leaving the boys gaping.

Smiling lightly to myself, I see Bev walk over to me. "Hi Y/N! Uh, what are they gaping at over the cliff?" Bev giggles.

"I bet them all at a spitting competition" I laugh.

Beverly and I overhear the boys say "Who's going first?".

I look at Bev and she looks back at me and she grabs my hand. Smirking, Beverly yells "We'll go!".

The boys look back at us, eyes widening as we were only in swimwear.

They didn't get to look long though, because me and Beverly had jumped off the cliff. "Sissies!" Beverly yells at them as I laugh.

"What the fuck?" Richie yells as I laugh again.

"Come on! Or are you guys too chicken?" I taunt at them.

"Oh you wish!" Richie yells down and he jumps down, follows by the others.

All through the afternoon, we all played chicken, did some swimming races and had splash wars.

Eventually, we got tired and decided to head up the cliff.

Bev and I started to sunbathe on our backs. After a while, I could literally imagine all the boys staring at me and Beverly. (cue Bust a Move 😏)
