I was asked how does endings look like?
tucked my hair behind my ears, confused on what to reply
So I suddenly think of tragic moments;
the loss
the destruction
the goodbyes
But there's a sudden thought popped in my head
It could be happy too, right? Like in movies;
the kiss
the marriage
settling into countryside living a peaceful life.
You see endings look strange. Even death isn't called an ending, most especially when you are indebted.
So I answered, it looks beautiful, it's like watching the sun, rising in the morning. It looks like you, smiling after reading the last sentences of your favorite book. It may look different, but endings do feel the same. because it is the feeling of satisfaction and acceptance. There were certain beginnings you can't tell if it ended already, because it doesn't look beautiful and it doesn't feel acceptable either. An ending has to be marked, and If you lost your ink pad and you haven't found the stamp yet, this is a continuation to your story.
