We love the ocean,
It's our safe haven.
The Slow walks,
It felt like forever.
The way you keep talking,
Then side glances to me smiling.
I always look away,
Cause you'll tease me for blushing.
The sound of your laughs,
That us lingering and haunting.
Our footprints,
On the sand as we walk further.
Your guitar,
Your strings,
Your songs,
Our music.
It all ended with a misunderstanding,
You ended and left me.
I didn't mean what i said.
I wish i never said it.
I can't stand seeing you there.
Your eyes closed.
Your lips still.
Your face pale.
Why did you leave me?
Why didn't you reached out?
I was just waiting for you.
Yet you never returned.
How am i able to go?
Back to the places we've been?
Seeing our marks faded,
Like our promises,
We can never fulfill.
Like our foot prints in the sand,
That's swept away by the waves.
You left me here alone.
In a place where you saved me.
