How sweet,
Our smiles like your words.
How hopeful,
Our eyes like our chilhood promises.
How unforgettable,
Our breaths cause we ran till we drop.
How mesmerizing,
Our faces facing the night skies.
You told me,
You like everything i hate about myself.
You told me,
That i should never stop smiling.
You promised me,
That you'll marry me when we grow up.
You promised me,
We'll travel the world together.
I asked you,
Why your heart beats like that.
You just smiled,
I was about to ask again yet you kissed me.
I can't forget,
Our late night calls.
I can't forget,
Our coffee moments.
I still remember,
The last day i saw you.
I told you to stay,
You said you have to go.
I still remember,
That last brightest smile.
I never thought,
That'll be the last.
Only if i noticed,
That you're hurting.
Only if i noticed,
I should've been there for you.
Now i know,
Why your heart beats like that.
You are also,
In pain all along.
I never thought,
That seeing you would be this painful.
I never thought,
That i'll see you inside this casket.
I haven't,
Given you everything you deserve yet.
I haven't,
Thought you'd kill yourself.
I wanna,
Spend more time with you.
I wanna,
See you smiling again.
Now i'm full or regrets,
Only if i noticed it sooner.
Now i'm like our childhood promises,
Unfulfilled and Forgotten.
