Fate

Part Nine .

Being stuck on tour was one thing , but being stuck on tour as a couple was another . Mark and Witney were constantly arguing . Over everything , even the little , irrelevant things . One day they were together , and broke up the next .

Of all people , it hurt the rest of the cast the most . The pros never knew whether they were together or not . They would try to plan stuff to do , but Mark and Witney were bickering . Then they wouldn't and Mark and Witney were mad because they wanted to be with each other . It was just too confusing .

Only a few shows were left . It felt as if it just kicked off yesterday . They were finishing the last shows in California . Everyone was extremely happy about another chapter in their life , but they were also sad . It had flown by so quickly .

" Hey baby ," Witney greeted Mark as he came in the girls' dressing room . They had just finished their show . Only four more left .

" We need to talk ," Mark replied . Witney could tell he was heated , and so could the rest of the girls .

" Here we go again ," Brittany mumbled under her breath . " I leave you too .

Mark waited until she closed the door to say anything .

" Witney ," Mark started ," You need to stop hanging with everyone else and hang out with me . I'm sick and tired of it . You need to be with me , starting now ."

Witney stood up and walked towards Mark .

" Excuse me , but I think you're over exaggerating . You need to relax ."

Witney tried to hold Mark's hand but he quickly snapped and grabbed her forearm .

" Listen to me !"

Witney was taken back . He has never yelled at her . He has never grabbed her like that . He was always cautious and a gentleman . What was wrong with him ?

" Mark ?" Tears were in her eyes as she pulled back , afraid what he would do next .

Mark quickly realized what he has done .

" Witney , Wit . I'm sorry . I never should have ..."

He wrapped his arms around her waist but she pushed him back .

" I knew I never should have done this ," She said so quiet , almost to her herself .

" What do you mean ?" Mark almost demanded , scared to hear her answer .

" This , all of this ! I never should have done this . It has ruined our friendship . It ... It has ruined us ."

Tears were in Witney's eyes along with Mark's . He wiped a tear from her eye , but she pushed him back again .

" C'mon , Wit ." Mark took a step towards her but she dodged and walked towards the door .

" I said no . And I mean it this time ," Witney took a deep breath before walking out on him .

They both were heartbroken , and Mark knew it was really the last time .

Okay , part nine .

This story is winding down to a close . Either part ten or eleven will be the last .

However , I'm super excited how successful this story has been and I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity and you guys .

And I really sorry I have been writing as much . I'm super busy with school and dance and other after school activities . But I will continue to write and hopefully at some point be able to write more .

I also have a bunch of prompts I got so thank you . I'll be writing a bunch more now . I also have another story planned and in the works for you guys .
