Part Six .

Mark finally felt free . He felt like he could be himself around Witney . She had admitted her feelings for him , and he felt so happy .

Even though Mark felt happy , he also nervous . Admitting their feelings to each other was one thing . Admitting their feelings to the world was another . What would their fans think ? What would their friends think ?

While Mark felt nervous , Witney wanted to tell . She wanted to announce her feelings . She wanted everyone to know .

It was the fourth show and the pros were having the best time of their life . They got to dance everyday and meet their fans , the ones who made the show .

Mark and Witney decided to tell their secret tonight . To spill to the audience during the show .

Mark agreed , but really didn't want to . He was scared . He loved Witney . He loved her deeply , but he didn't want his friends to ridicule him . His was torn .

The crowd went wild as the dancers finished their one of many group dances . It was the last dance before the intermission .

" We're going to have a short intermission !" Alfonso exclaimed .

Mark and Witney walked out , hand in hand .

" Wait ," Witney said ," We have an announcement to make !"

The crowd as well as the other dancers were confused . Mark kept contemplating whether or not to tell everyone .

" Mark and I are ..." Witney began before Mark could interrupt her .

" Very excited for the next half of the show ." Mark let go of Witney's hand .

Witney was shocked . How could he ? Why didn't he follow the plan ? Why did he do that ?

" We'll be back in fifteen minutes !"

Witney was frustrated . Mark didn't even come talk to her after what he did . He just went straight to his dressing room .

'Knock , knock .' Mark opened the door and Witney stormed into his room , without his permission .

" How could you ? How could you , Mark ?" Witney exclaimed . Tears were forming in her eyes .

" Witney ," Mark began ," What's so bad ? I just don't want people to know ."

Witney was even more shocked . Why ? Why was Mark acting this way ?

" Why ?" Witney began ," Why Mark ? Are you embarrassed by me ? Are you scared ? Why ?" Tears were now streaming down her face .

" C'mon , Wit ," Mark pulled her close to him , wiping away her tears . His lips collided with hers , but she suddenly pulled away .

" I need to get ready ," Witney said .

She merely walked out , heartbroken .
