CHAPTER 12 - SUICIDE MISSION

BEATRIXIA

I shut my eyes tightly and abruptly twisted the steering wheel while still pressing the gas. We held our breaths until the car crashed into something.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw smoke coming out from the engine of the car.

"Guys, let's get out of here before the killers will spot us red-handed." I whispered. We slowly retreated, doing our utmost best to be quiet and we succeeded.

"Yes!" Edward suddenly yelled in excitement. We turned our heads to him as he cursed and turned at his back. The killers were slowly approaching us and we froze on our spots.

"Edward," Dwight called him. "Get yourself ready at home."

Nanindig ang mga balahibo ni Edward at lumunok ng ilang beses dahil sobrang seryoso ng pagkakasabi ni Dwight.

"U-uh," he said. "Dwight naman--"

"Takbo!" sigaw ni Riann at tumakbo kami ng mabilis, pabalik sa dorm unit namin.

"Ah! Mama!" sigaw ni Edward at binilisan pa ang pagtakbo.

"Katapusan niyo na!" sigaw ng isa.

Because I'm physically strong, I decided to run last. I'm following them behind their backs and fought the killers who are getting nearer.

"Bea! What the heck are you doing?!" galit na sigaw ni Dwaynell.

"Slowing them! 'Wag mo akong abalahin sa ginagawa ko! Tumakbo lang kayo!" sigaw ko pabalik dahil medyo malayo na sila sa akin.

I ran and ran and never stopped while throwing rocks at the killers to knock them off. I stopped to pick up a couple of stones and ran backwards, facing the killers.

Ang hihina nilang tumakbo pero kung makapagsabi na katapusan na namin wagas. I abruptly stopped when I tripped over a rock and I'm so tired. I barely got up and ran away from the killers.

It's been minutes because the gymnasium is far from the dormitories, we still need a couple of seconds before we could go back, and the killers are not missing their chance in running after us. I blew the hair covering my eyes and decided to lose them for good.

"Guys!" I yelled.

"Yes?!" they yelled back.

"Go straight to the dorm, lock it, and don't go out! Alright?!" I yelled and heaved a deep breath.

"Why?! What are you planning to do Beatrixia?!" Dwight yelled.

"Going to do the rightful thing!" I screamed and grabbed the attention of the killers by offending them.

"Woi mga mukhang hayop! Ang dami niyo versus kaming lima lang?! Ang hihina niyo naman! How about one versus all, huh?!" sigaw ko.

"Beatrixia Taclas!" Riann yelled angrily. I gave her a glance and smirked.

"Ako ang habulin niyo, tutal kayang-kaya ko kayong patumbahin!" sigaw ko. "Easy-peasy lang yan eh! Tignan natin ngayon ang lakas niyo!"

"Ang yabang mo ah!" sigaw ng isa. "Tara, tapusin na natin 'yan para walang nang balakid at pag natapos na natin siya, isunod naman natin yung mga kaibigan niya!" Tumawa pa sila.

Napantig ang tenga ko nung narinig kong idadamay pa nila ang mga kaibigan ko, which I strongly oppose. Tumakbo ako pakaliwa habang pakanan naman ang tinatahak nina Dwight.

"Bea! Bruha ka! 'Pag hindi ka bumalik dito ako mimso ang papatay sa'yo!" mangingiyak na sigaw ni Riann, bago siya hinila ni Edward at nawala na sila sa paningin ko.
