Hey there..., I finally finished my monthly exams and I'm free for a short period of time before tumbling into school work again... ugh.

At least I can look forward to the Lunar New Year and receive my red packets.

I've really wanted to learn this type of cover for a while now because it looks cool. I just learned it yesterday, so forgive me if it looks strange.

1. Make the canvas preferably black, and on another layer, add a thin rectangle to mark where you will add the title.
2. Set force fade on, make the length of start 0%, and length of end quite low (below 40%)

3. With the color of your choice, draw shapes, lines, and/or curls around the rectangle
4. Use a smaller brush size, draw 'branches' of the lines. You can repeat this step as many as you want with gtadually smaller brush sizes, as long as you don't make the cover look too overwhelming.

5. Go to filter > style > bevel to make the lines look metallic and shiny
6. Add your title, author name, etc. After that, you can add effects, background, etc and you're done!

Things to note :

- don't make the lines too thick or it'll look bulky

- stick to the theme. e.g. the white tree branches and snowflakes for a more snowy theme, or the hearts for a more romantic theme. The curly lines are frequent in Fantasy covers.
