envision an older man who has just gotten out of prison.he hasn't done a crime but took the fall for his younger brother. when they were younger their father was a drunk , and came home beating their mother and the younger brother killed him. at the time the younger brother was only 8 while he was 12. when he gets out he expects to come home to his high school sweetheart but he is wrong. not only has she moved on but she's moved on with his younger brother. let it be the tale of is heartbreak, you hardly see books where the man expresses his hurt.

he moves on from the hurt and now is looking for someone like her. the girl he used to bully in school. she used to be poor but now owns a very successful clothing line. the roles are reversed he is now down on his luck due to him just getting out of jail and is now a felon,while she makes money in her sleep.he cannot find a job so she offers him one. they bump heads at first but slowly grow on each other. then they fall in love the end lol.
