Class A sat in their seats of their classrooms. The 18 other students eyed the two winners of the tournaments- Katsuki Bakugo and (Name) (L/N). While (Name) had it calmly on her desk, Katsuki had it in the grasp of his teeth. Of course, no one didn't miss the empty seat of the class president, Tenya Iida.
The day sure was a stretch, but only then when the day ended did the students realize how important it was.
"In the light of the festival," Eraser Head began, "you'll have tomorrow and the day after day off." The students stared at him in confusion.
"Scouting reports and such from the pros will be waiting for you here after the break," the teacher explained farther. "So look forward to that as you enjoy your time off."
They would start to gain attraction from now on, and it wouldn't be just from the Sports Festival.
Each student spent their time differently. Some talked with their parents and got words of appreciation, some spent those days on training, but no one's days were spent like the (L/N)s.
(Name) was being stared at a grown-up who just looked exactly like her and her brother. The siblings were frozen under their mother's gaze. Her stare lingered on their head as it burned holes. The three were sitting at a private dining room in an expensive restaurant(the mother's request).
None of them said a word. The silence was as deafening as ever. (Name) was begging for one of her friends to text her through phone, but nope.
The mother opened her mouth to talk. "You two," she began as the two teens tensed.
What were you doing? Things like that passed in their minds. What would their mother say? You're doing great? Or what...?
"I'm proud of both of you."
The two teenagers blinked. Um, what?
(M/N) looked at her children with tears in her eyes. "Ever since grandfather and great-uncle died, I started to see them in you," she began. "I wanted you two to become something less dangerous than them, but... I can't really control your lives, can I?
"During that match, I realized who you two were truly. People who blend in by standing out. Those were the kind of people they were."
(Name) and (B/N) sweat dropped. A totally unexpected pep talk from Mother!
"I've realized that I've been trying to make you something that you're not," she continued, "I wanted to make you grow up in a quiet and silent world, but when you two stand out so much, the room is never quiet, is it?" Tears began to drip out. "I...!" She gulped, taking her time to say the next words.
"I want you two to stay here," she said, crying her guts out. "I'm really proud of you two."
The younger (L/N)s smiled, and tears began to spill out of their eyes, too.
"So, stop with the waterworks if you don't want the food to get cold," (Name) quickly cut in.
"Right, right."
They faced with the fans and paparazzi banging on the walls of the restaurant later.
Still, (Name) remembered what Ochako said to her after the tournament. That stopped her appetite for a while. She was alerted later since Rotom wasn't there. Her mind wandered to that memory.
Ochako stood in front of (Name), blushing redder than a tomato. She grasped her hands tight.
"(Name)..." the tea girl began, "I like you!"
(Name) blinked. "Yeah, I do, too."
Ochako stayed silent for a moment. Then her cheeks flared again. "No, like, really!" she explained. "I love you! I want to become your girlfriend!"
(Name) froze. Girlfriend, love, those words lingered in her head. When was the last time she dates someone in that kind of relationship. Her cheeks flared as much as Ochako's the first time since she broke up with her...
That girl with the Poipole...
(Name) bit her lip and faced Ochako. "I... I'll think about it," she replied. "I... need some time to think."
Of course, (B/N) explained (Name)'s backstory to Ochako later(when the real deal wasn't there).
Now what did she have to say to that? When she thought about it, she smiled. Right, that kind of relationship doesn't have to be that deep.
She smiled again as she left the restaurant with her family.
This was her choice. She had made up her mind.
______
Hello, everyone! It's Author back in the house! I'm still going to post chapter really late, so don't expect things to come out of nowhere.
This chapter was fairly short, and there was a really long time skip. I didn't want to focus that much on there, so I cut it short. I also wanted to focus this chapter on the (L/N)s. Major character development. In the mom, of course. LOL(first time writing that).
I want to thank you all for supporting! It's really awesome. Also, I've decided to stop taking in OC requests(sorry, I really am), but maybe I'll try to include them in the story once in a while. If you do have an OC, explain their purpose so I can include them in a bonus chapter!
Also, isn't it cute how Ochako confessed to (Name)? I wanted to think of what a sweet tea-girl like Uraraka would do, and this is what I came up with. Yes, this was the confession, and yes, this will foreshadow something.
Cute, isn't it? Young love.
Also, the celebrity that joined was Olu Olu. I didn't count that in because it would be lots of writing, but here's the pinch: (Name) and Olu Olu(an Alolan Pokemon Base player) came up together in the semifinals, and (Name) won. The end. Still, their popularity exploded off the charts after that.
Otherwise, stay healthy and safe. Thank you all for staying with me during the Pokemon Tournament Arc(which was like two chapters). Until then, PLUS ULTRA!
P.S., next chapter will be about a flashback!
Trivia 7: (B/N) has two joints in his little toe, but he has a quirk(This is foreshadowing something in the future!).
Trivia requests are always open!
Commentary of what will happen next time[narrated by (B/N)]:
Next time, a backstory of (Name)'s dating history, but never fully in love. Who was the Poipole girl (Name) remembered? Can't wait!
