Chapter 20: Revenge! The Comeback of Comebacks!

"We're coming for you, Midoriya..."

(Name) jolted. Her head began swiveling left and right, her voice quiet for the first time today. No, not quiet. It was silent. The silence wasn't so welcoming, though. It was rather hostile. For some reason, the aura Shouto radiated was kind of like-

Her eyes drifted to meet the eyes of the Number 2 Pro Hero of Japan.

Endeavor, right? He was the Flamer Hero, but his gaze was as cold as ever. (Name)'s aura did lots of things- for example, protect her from certain quirks, give her infinite stamina(depending on how she used it), and resistance to extreme temperature- but the gaze of Endeavor cut the radiation of aura (Name) had.

It wasn't so often it happened. Ever since quirks started appearing, auras have grown weaker and thinner, to the point of the aura of a cicada, which can only live for a week. However, it seemed to (Name) that Katsuki and Endeavor were the exceptions.

Shouto actually gave off a different aura, but his left side, the one with the burn scar, gave off a presence something like Endeavor's. Ah, but (Name) remembered that Shouto's father was Endeavor, so not very surprising. What she found interesting was Shouto's right side.

"(Name)?" a feminine voice cut the Trainer's thoughts. Blue eyes met (E/C) ones. "Are you okay?" Serena's voice was as calm as ever, like a best friend. They did meet at Professor Oak's Pokemon Camp, so no surprise there.

(Name) smiled and nodded in reply. "Yeah, just peachy!" she answered. She gripped her banner onto the side that read, 'Plus Ultra!', which was Latin for 'Further beyond!' and the national motto of Spain(Yes, it's true. Trivia stuff here!). "Why?"

(B/N) slapped the back of (Name)'s head. "Maybe because it's rare and possibly a bad omen for you to stay quiet in times like this," he scolded. "There's something going on. Spill it."

There was no hiding from (B/N) when he meant it, and he meant it now. (Name) shivered and sighed, ignoring her friend Kiawe's notice of her sudden pessimism. Should she really spit everything out? Well, this was her closest group of friends and rivals, so....

"Truth is, I think Shouto's aura is kinda like Endeavor's, not surprising, but it's also different," she admitted. "I mean, he is Endeavor's son, makes sense, but that's not all. It seems that one side is radiating aura like Endeavor and the other side is radiating some other kind of aura. Just my observations, though."

Silence.

"How long did it take you to realize all that?" (B/N) asked, letting out a sigh. It was obvious that he was the only one who knew. "It's because of his quirk. His quirk is Half-Cold, Half-Hot. His right side generates ice while his left side generates fire. Fire is from his father, ice is probably from his mom."

"Really?" the other Trainers asked, wide eyed with curiosity. Ah, so they didn't know.

Tierno sweat dropped and averted his eyes back to the field. Oh. There was the Katsuki Bakugou kid. The guy who explodes things, right? "Oh, that Bakugou person," Tierno noticed. "It seems that he's being confronted by..."

(B/N) noted the fight between the two blonde riders. "You mean Monoma? I can see how it all happened... Monoma's quirk is...."

"Don't add insult to injury, Monoma!" Itsuka Kendou, the rider of her team created by her, Reiko Yanagi, Setsuna Tokage, and Kinoko Komori, chided Neito. "No sense in making enemies." No matter the situation, Itsuka was always the big sister of Class B.
