Sometimes, I feel sorry for Rollan. It's not every day that your mother tries to kill you. I think that that can be pretty hard to deal with. Yeah, I know Aidana was possessed, but that's besides the point. I like that, despite all of his inner feelings, he has the strength to be a comic relief. He's a good person. (Man, I talk like he's real! XD) Rollan and Essix may not have the strongest bond, but Essix does still show him affection sometimes, and she always gives help when it's truly needed, or in dire situations. It's funny that in "Fire and Ice", she feeds Rollan jerky like a baby bird. It's cute.
