Two weeks Later

It's now been 2 weeks and Chelsey moved in and was fitting in well. We planned to have the attack within 2 weeks as well if everything goes well
"Girl are you and him going on another date?" Ash asked me while I looked for another outfit
Him as in Kai?? Yes we hit it off really well, we been on a few dates since we met and I was not complaining at all. It was now safe for us to go out but not without guards watching from afar which I had no problem with
"Yes" I responded blushing hard as hell. Kai was sweet maybe the sweetest man I've ever encountered, he's such a gentleman and that smile, that smile is something serious make you just wanna ..
"Girl do you like him?? you must have to going on these damn dates like that but I mean shit he is fine I don't blame you"
"I don't care what he is if he hurt you ima break him" Jake said barging into my room as usual, I rolled my eyes , you might say once me and Kai got into something the boys definitely didn't like him especially Ace
He wouldn't even come out the room knowing I'm going out with him and if he did he would definitely give him the death glare but Kai is so clueless he always speaks and just be the gentleman he is
"He doesn't bother any of you guys relax" I said rolling my eyes again "Yeah he don't but let him hurt you ain't gone be nomo CEO" Dee said walking in while grabbing Ash kissing her
"Why must everyone always barge in my room?"
They all shrugged and engaged in their on conversation I shook my head they act like this is the living room or sum shit , I scoffed and walked out letting them two love birds do whatever and let Jake be otp with one of his whores
"Oh sorry" I said realizing I bumped someone "Look at where you going next time"
I knew that voice as we simply just stared at each other and I rolled my eyes

"It was an accident I said I was sorry dont be a dick about it" I said rolling my eyes again as he chuckled "Preppy boy must have you feeling yourself because I know you ain't forget who's the Alpha in this house"
Once Kai came in the picture me and Ace having any type of moments or anything disappeared, this may be the most we every said to each other in 2 weeks and to say it's the most petty conversation to have , I loved the way Alpha rolled off his tongue because it was true
"Seems as if the Alpha is jealous" I said chuckling as he walked closer causing me to back up into the door "This Alpha could never be jealous of someone who couldn't stand a chance even if they tried , that was cute you thought you did sum there but remember whos the real Alpha and stop letting pups get you bold" He said chuckling winking at me
And just like that he walked off leaving me speechless, did I just really get served ??
I need to get ready for this day before i day some other shit to him
"Hey sexy" I heard a female voice knowing it was Chels "Hey babymomma"

Knowing exactly what she meant when she said that, I laughed but was also embarrassed she raised her hands up in surrender "I ain't gone tell nobody you got punked though"
"And I ain't gone tell everybody you ate the last bit of waffles and pancakes knowing that's everybody fav breakfast"
Now she know out of Jake and Ash , she was in a hell of trouble if I was to tell, I mean dont y'all remember what happened between the whole last debate over them? I know they would eat Chels alive for dinner
"You wouldn't dare" She said wide eyed "Girl Im pregnant and you want me already in the hospital? What kind of inlaw are you" She said causing me to laugh so hard
"So I guess we calling it a truce" We both nodded
"Well I guess I have to get ready for this date now , I just don't know what to wear" I said now looking at the time "He said causal right?"
I nodded
"Let's go find you a cute outfit"
Later on
Date with Kai
"Soooo where you bringing me?" I asked again impatiently for the 100th time , Kai claimed he had a surprise for me
"Dang girl, why can't you wait you'll love it I promise" i sighed folding my arms
I hate surprises
After driving for what felt like forever we pulled up to a zoo and I was hella confused , It's not that because we're at a zoo but the time it is confused me
"The zoo?? it's 8pm isnt this closed?" I asked it was late and I did dress simple as told but is this some kind of joke?
He chuckled "This zoo is opened until 12am , I remember hearing you say you love animals and I thought why not a night at the zoo"
As he explained it I was in Awe but also more shocked to kno they have a whole zoo open late, I was excited all over again , I grabbed his arm "Let's go!"
Maybe I did love surprises
After seeing almost every animal we sat down by the black panthers , as i watched them in their cages
"Black panthers are my favorite animals" I said staring at them
"Why if you don't mind me asking"
"Their mysterious, their beautiful in every way, if I could pet one I would" I turned to look at him "Thank you for this date, this was honestly fun"
But the only thing was I couldn't stop thinking of him and it made me feel horrible because why was I thinking of him?
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself , I like to spend time with you" He said looking at me causing me to smile , in the moment I seen him lean closer and so did I ,
We kissed before but this time I think God was showing me something I needed to understand , He was on my mind
He was all I ever thought about, no matter what we say to each other or what goes on between us , He drives my mind insane and I craved him
But before we did anything , I stopped us by putting my finger on his lips, pulling away
"I can't" I mumbled while he looked confused "You're a great guy Kai, maybe one of the sweetest human beings ever and whoever get you will be the luckiest girl ever ... but there's someone else that makes my mind wonders" I said with my head down
I knew he was staring at me, I could feel it
"Look at me"
I wouldn't dare , I hate to hurt anyone & i know i maybe have hurt him when i know everything was genuine but I would rather tell him early and not late
"I said look at me" He said raising my head , moving my hair to the side in the process "You can't control who your heart belongs to and I understand, I'm not mad at you, I honestly respect you because I'm not ready for this and I felt as if I rushed something when I'm still a work in progress with shit I'm facing , plus I have no problem waiting for your beautiful soul" He said kissing my cheek
I was shocked but yet I smiled
"Friends?"
"Friends."
What a interesting way to end a date ..
