Leave or Stay? - Kim Seungmin

You are working as an actress in Korea. You are quite famous among the people there but you have always dream of pursue acting in America. Then finally you got the good news that you have been selected to act in a new American movie alongside with Tom Holland and Noah Centineo. You couldn't have been happy after hearing such news from your manager.

But something hit you, how can you break the news to your boyfriend. How would he react such news...will he be happy or sad?

You decided to met up with him and he accept to meet you at the place you two have always go to. You went to the cafe and saw him sitting at yours regular seat. Your smile grow and you quietly walk behind him to attack him with a back hug.

"Y/n..you surprised me" he chuckle, standing up to face you and gave you a warm hug.
"Happy to see me Seungmo~" you wrap your arms around his neck.
"Of course I am" he gave a peck on the tip of your nose, before leading you to your sit beside him.
"So..how have work going?" You said out of the blue that made him stare at you weirdly but still with a smile.
"Tell me..something happen right?" Seungmin ask while holding onto your hands.
"What made you think so?" You question him.
"I know you since we were high schooler, y/n. Now spill the tea" he exhilarated.
"I got a part in an American movie!!!" You excitedly told him.
"That's...that's great" he cheer but sound a bit sorrow.
"Seungmin, is everything ok?" You put your left hand on tight.
"I'm fine, when are you flying there?" Seungmin showed a force smile.
"Next month, I will be staying there...maybe like a year?" You explain.

You notice, Seungmin expression was something you couldn't interpret. He look happy for you but also sorrow about it.

"Seungmin, you really sure that you're fine with me going to America?" You ask.
"To be honest y/n...I'm worried and concern about your safety there. I won't be there for you when something bad happen and we will be far for eachother" Seungmin confess.
"I know but my manager will be there for me and some bodyguard will guard us. I know the time zone there is different but we try make time for us to communicate. It will only be a year I'm gone" you cupped his left cheek and bring his face up to lock eyes with yours.
"Can you not go?" Seungmin ask that made you surprised by his question.
"Seungmin...you do know that it's my life time dream to be able to act there" you pull your hands off him and stare at him.
"I'm scared that you will forget about me" Seungmin said.
"I will only be away for a year...I won't forget about you that easily" you reassure him.
"Yeah sure...the actors you are working with..it will be impossible for you not to fall in love with..especially when there's kissing scene. I bet you will love that right?" He sarcastically said that made you stand up from your seat.
"I'm leaving!" You said in a whisper yell at him.

You left from there with rage after hearing Seungmin assume you like that. Seungmin on the other hand didn't chase after you and left to his dorm instead. After the night happened, you and Seungmin haven't call or text eachother. You will always break down to tears whenever you remembered by the event. Meanwhile, Seungmin been acting gloomy and that ruined the atmosphere with the other members.

Chan notice it and assume something might have happened between you two. He first call you to know the full detail on your side of the story before asking Seungmin about it. You told him everything.

It's a good thing that the boys have 2 day off so he have the chance to talk with Suengmin about it. Chan went to Seungmin bedroom to see he's laying down on his bed, curling himself.

"Seungmin, you wanna talk?" Chan carefully ask.
"No" he replied.
"I know that you and y/n have misunderstood eachother" chan said after taking a sit on Seungmin's bed.
"Why can't she understand my feelings? It's clearly that I don't want her to leave because it can be dangerous" Seungmin said, still curling himself.
"I know you love and care for y/n but she's a grown and independent woman who have big ambition" Chan said that made Seungmin sit up and stare at his Hyung.
"But she can just act here in Korea...where it's more safer and I can take care of her when she needed me" Seungmin look down, clenching his blanket.
"Seungmin, do you still remember why you want to become a singer?" Chan ask and Seungmin nodded.
"Then try imagine y/n, under your shoes. How she must have wanted to be an actress in the America industry. When she got the news that she have the chance to pursue her long time dream...try imagine how happy she was when she got the news just like how happy you were when we got to debut as Stray Kids" Chan said that made Seungmin rethink what he have done.
"I hurt her Hyung...I was just thinking of my feelings rather than hers" he said, biting his lower lip.
"Its not late to apologize to her, but you have a week to do so before she fly to America" Chan pat Seungmin's shoulder and show him a warm smile.
"Thanks Hyung for making me realizing it, I will go meet her now" Seungmin said, throwing off the blanket off and get ready to meet you.

You got a text from Seungmin to meet you at your regular meet up place. At first you didn't want to go but Seungmin sounded pleading to meet you and even Chan ask you to go or you will regret it. You come before he does and seated at your regular place. Soon, you notice the chair infront of you was pulled out and sited a person.

"You came" he happily said, never thought you will actually come.
"I will give you 10 minute or else I'm going home and pack my things" you laid back and cross your arms on your chest.
"I know, I mess up" he said.
"Yes you did" you remark.
"I also know that I hurt you without even thinking of how your feelings" he said and you nod with agree.
"I come here to meet you to sincerely apologize about my attitude and my words the other day. I deeply hurt you without knowing that it was your life long dream to be able to achieve it. I know you have always tell me about it and I wasn't being the supportive and good boyfriend like I should have been. I was wrong to make you stay and accuse you such things. I was too caught up with my own thoughts and feelings but ended up hurting the person I care and love the most. I'm sorry." Seungmin confess but instead of being aww by his apologize, you let out a chuckle at him.
"Did Channie knock you that hard to made you say that?" You giggle.
"I'm apologizing here and the mood was at the right set! How could you laugh at it???" Seungmin stare at you with disbelief in his eyes.
"Im Sorry..it just that it was too emotional but funny at the same time!!" You laugh it off.
"You're an idiot y/n" he huff, moving his attention from you.
"You're a dork too..but we're eachother dorks" you said, stretching your hand to grab his.

Seungmin move his head to look at you who is know showing a big smile.
"So..we're good?" Seungmin ask and you gave him a nod.
"Seungmin, will you wait for me?" You ask, locking eyes with him.
"Ofcourse, I will..you're my only one Yoon y/n" he said before planting a kiss on your knuckles.
