Melody's pov

-

Waterdrops fell one by one, so loud that it filled the silence of the area. It was enough to drive someone insane, almost as if with each drop, time was running out

Disgusting. That's all I could say. Utterly fucking disgusting. My body laid on the cold stone floor of whatever the fuck it is that I'm in. How dare they make me sit on the bare ground with not even a blanket for my skin, I paid good money to iron out any signs of stretch marks

There wasn't even a bed, just stone and iron bars. Something pedophiles should see for the rest of their lives but yet here I am

I had thought my jail cell as real for so long that I never even checked to see if the walls were solid

The kinkiest shit of it all was the handcuffs on the walls

The terrible thing about it? Yep, that's right. Bones were handcuffed to the wall which could only mean that someone was down here long enough to rot and leave their remains

Skinny legend

I heard screams from other cells and they paralyzed me from even pushing on the door

The howls obviously from someone down the hall who surely wasn't getting out anytime soon, perhaps a crazy man who also was abducted from these freaks of gold

I still couldn't wrap my head around it, how did I go from a morning on a boat to a dungeon in just a few seconds

Not only that, but everything here was not as it seemed. At first I assumed everyone had tattoos, even the children but when my eyes landed on the man on the throne, his skin was made of gold lines. I could assume it was to differentiate between royalty and its people

But their eyes, it was white. I've never seen those colour eyes on a person before nor do I think it's possible. I keep fighting the thoughts that these people were aliens but I just might have to assume that

It felt like I walked into another world, not to mention the fucking floating rocks in the air

Everyone's skin was marked in different black line patterns, they didn't seem to speak English either so it was hard to understand them

But only two of them I understood, the dark skinned man who's body was covered in gold as he sat on a throne, he spoke English once to a woman

A woman who's beauty was beyond compare, I've never seen someone so breathtaking that it was hard to look at her

But she was so unique, she had silver hair that flowed over her back and most of her skin was taken over my gold lines that glowed in her body

Jewels stacked on her wrists leading up her arm, each looked like a unique piece. There was a gold chain that hooked around her nose like a piercing and stopped behind her ear

I've never laid eyes on someone that nearly came close to her beauty

"What are you thinking about?" A voice filled the emptiness, catching me off guard

"Who's there!" I hissed

Suddenly, white glowing eyes appeared in the darkness, my heart leaped as I stubmled backwards, pushing my feet so that it would toss me back away

The white eyes started to move closer and my heart raced even faster at its pace

"Don't worry, it's just me" The voice said

Through the darkness, the person stepped forward to the single fire lamp that was hoisted into the air

I finally saw her face clearly, the orange flicker of the lamp graced her light brown skin so beautifully. Her silver eyes glimmered with the flame as she smiled sweetly at me

I could see every detail of her better, her ear surely was pointed at the tip. Her silver hair was braided and flowed down her back while a golden crown rested on her head with its various jewels, some of ruby while some of embers and sapphire

Her neckline was exposed as her dress formed a wide V line down to her chest and only touched her shoulder blades, flowing her her back like a cape

On her shoulder blades, rested two golden flowers while a gold belt hooked around her waist, allowing the rest of her dress to flow with any wind with ease, dangles filled her arms as she tilted her head slightly to the side examining me

"You Can understand me?" she asked

What kind of stupidity- are you telling me that they understand everything I've been saying all of this goddamned time!?

"Ofcourse I can fucking understand you. Have you people not heard me screaming for the past hours!?" I hissed

The woman raised a brow at me but still held her smile

"You're human, are you not?"

"Umm... Yes? What kinda question is that?"

"I can see that now" she said with a small pout

Bitch what the fuc-"

"Listen. I think there's been a misunderstanding" I started

"You're too young to be human" she said

"What?" I asked

"You skin, there are no... Lines" she said

"I give props to L'Oreal" I mumbled

"What is this Lo real?" she asked, I simply rolled my eyes and stood from the ground

"Listen. In the past twenty four hours, I've been kidnapped, tossed over the shoulders of men, eye fucked by every person in this... Weird ass place and I'm pretty sure I've lost my mind at floating rocks. Now I'm in jail for existing. Can you give me a damn break and answer my questions for once?" I glared

The girl simply chuckled and nodded her head, it was the first sign that I was finally going to understand everything, I sighed deeply as my eyes met hers again

"Good. Now wha-"

"After you accompany me on my walk" she smiled

"What?" I questioned

Surely I must be tripping out at this point because this is some 365 shit

"A walk, or would you rather sit in the gutters for the rest of the night?" She giggled

Something fluttered inside me, springing to life like a butterfly's first jump from its caccoon. I felt my heart twinge slightly as her small giggle

"I- um" I mumbled, glancing around the cell

It would surely be better than just sitting on the stone ground and wishing the pile of bones in the corner was me in a different life

Or nawing my way out of this cell with my teeth

"Are you alone?" I questioned, the woman smiled sweetly and nodded

An even better idea came to mind, I could go along with whatever it was that she had in her head. Maybe I could ask to walk somewhere far away from the guards that surrounded the area. Then when the time is right, I could spring away and never see this damn place again

Yes.

Sorry pile of bones, but one of us is getting out of here and I'm pretty sure it's going to be the one with flesh

Adiois

"Fine. But you have to promise to answer all of my questions" I said

"I'd be delighted to" the girl grinned

I inhaled deeply, giving it a few seconds to seem as if I was actually thinking about it like a hard decision. I needed her to think that I wasn't up to anything and was only desperate to find out why I was here

Well, here goes nothing.
