"Hey" Chris said softly knowing that something was wrong with the girl he had gotten close to in the past few weeks
"Hi" she slowly and softly spoke while giving a light smile she forced out
"What's after happening" The older man asked seeing her tear stained cheeks
"Um .. well" she swallowed
"Well the hate was getting to me and the girls though it would be a good idea to get my mom to come here , then when she got here she took my to the doctor" Mia paused abruptly
"And?" Chris asked worriedly
She didn't saying anything for a few seconds, swallowing a huge lump in her throat again .
"I have depression and an eating disorder" she said lowly as if she was going to break .
"Mia .... i-" Chris started
"I don't want pity , i didn't mean for this to happen i swear i just-" she was cut off by her own sobs
"Your going to be okay Mi , your so strong your going to get through it" he said using the nickname he gave her .
"I don't think so this time" the girl trailed off
"How about i try and cheer you up" Chris said smiling at the girl
"You can try" Mia spoke
The next thing Mia heard was Chris calling Dodger over , the big dog jumped on the couch and sat on Chris' lap looking at Mia through the phone . Mia had then put out a real smile seeing Chris and Dodger bonding .
The two continued to talk for hours about stupid stuff , it was mostly Chris trying to cheer Mia up .
"Mia?" Chris asked
Mia hummed
"This was suppose to be a surprise but i don't know if it's the best idea right now so i'm just going to ruin it" Chris spoke quickly
"What is it?" The girl asked
"I have a flight from Boston to LA in a few days" he said smiling seeing to girls face
"please don't cancel please come please" Mia dragged out
"Of course i will" Chris smiled
"I'll see you in a few days Mi" he spoke again
"I'll see you in a few days Chris" Mia smiled
after that Mia had hung up and for once Mia had fallen asleep without having to cry herself to sleep
