"Has everyone's path already been set?
Or do we create our own path?"

Y/N | Choice? Predestined?

The building for the KEA headquarters was located north of Seoul. It was isolated enough where you couldn't just stumble across it, but it was close enough to Seoul that you only needed to make two transfers. It was a large white modern-looking building that seemed to be about 15 floors high.

It was a bit of a walk from the nearest bus station but it wasn't too bad. As you were making your way towards the building, you couldn't help but think back to the events that lead up to this moment in your life.

In all honesty, you had no intention of going to the KEA Headquarters. Although you were suspicious about the whole business card, you thought maybe it was just the pressures of school that caused you to hallucinate the wordings on the card.

But when you seemingly created a field of energy to protect you from the incoming debris, it was like your understanding of your entire life came crashing down into a million pieces. You had spent the entirety of your life believing that you were an ordinary person. But now, you are possibly an Enhanced.

You sighed as you remembered the events at the library. The Enhanced with the red hair slightly reprimanded you about not wearing your mask in public while using your ability. Then he picked you up and ran a couple of blocks away. He dropped you off and warned you once more to keep your mask on you at all times, then zoomed back to the fight.

You wanted to argue that you weren't an Enhanced, but for some strange reason, you couldn't form the words. After all, you did see that purple field of energy around you. The red-haired Enhanced didn't create it, the other Enhanced were too focused on the fight to have even protected you, and the Rouges were definitely not going to protect civilians. So the only logical explanation was that the field of energy was in fact created by you. Which led you to get on the public transit to find your way to the KEA Headquarters. You needed answers and you needed them yesterday.

As you walked through the doors to the Headquarters, you saw many young and older adults walking about in grey tracksuits.

'Maybe it's a cult?' You couldn't help but think to yourself.

You walked up to the front desk area. There was a man on the phone. You patiently waited for him to finish his phone call. You noticed his name: Bang Cheolyong.

"Y/N?" He asked you as soon as he finished his phone call.

"How-?"

"Follow me, Mr Bang is in his office waiting for you," he said formally as he stood up and walked around the table. He waited for you to follow him, which you did.

Cheolyong pressed the button for the elevator. You weren't one to make small talk, so there was an air of silence between you.

You reached the top floor. 15. There was a long hallway to either side of the elevator. Compared with the size of the building, there weren't a lot of doors. From the quickly sweeping glance, you could see around 10.

Cheolyong led you to the door that was directly in front of the elevator. 'President's Office' was written on a plaque next to the door.

"Come in," a voice came from the other side of the door before Cheolyong could even knock. He shook his head with a small smile and opened the door widely for you. He then motioned you to enter. Which you did.

The office was big. You could see a sitting area. There were two coffee tables placed right next to each other and couches surrounded them. To your left, there was a giant desk where Sihyuk was sitting. He looked at you with a knowing smile that seemed to say 'I told you so'.
