Okay, we know that in the movie Retak'ka is pretty much dead, right?
Well, sad to say that he's alive in the comics!

After being shot by Supra's super blast, well he fell in the lake after receiving heavy damages from Supra. The height from where Retak'ka fell was also very high and it was impossible for him to move again at that time. Plus, Supra did fry him into crisp.

After he secured his win, then Boboiboy lost consciousness and fell into the lake, tired from using all of his elemental power.

In the panel, they were talking about Retak'ka and his group.
Boboiboy: Ho... How about Retak'ka?
Admiral Tarung: Don't worry. Retak'ka and his underlings have already been dealt with.
So from this panel, we can assume that Retak'ka is pretty much alive and was taken by TAPOPS.
And there we can see Tok Kasa's sad face when his old-friend was being imprisoned due to his crimes.

Well, I'm bitter since Retak'ka is alive after all the things that he's done! (｡-_-｡)
But then, after knowing about this, it made me feel a little bit comfortable reading stories with the space monkey in it though.
Another reason why I'm using him in my story of course! ('ε')
Last but not least, I've been reading history books lately and I found that during the reign of the 2nd Sultan of Selangor apparently, they used small canons called Retaka or Retak as one of the efforts to defend Kuala Selangor from the Dutch attacks. Well, I immediately remembered Retak'ka after reading this though! 😂
Maybe, just maybe... That's the inspiration of Retak'ka's name? Idk...
