The 368 applicants who made it through the long underground tunnel find themselves in an unexplored land teeming with strange creatures, known as the Numere Wetlands.

*Akira POV*

Satotz:Pay attention now. Be sure to stay close to behind me.

We all kept running following Satotz but the further we were the thicker the fog was, and I was running with Gon and Killua as I noticed some people were following Hisoka and wanted to take him out and Killua noticed the same.

Killua:Gon.

Gon:Huh?

Killua:Let's move up.

Gon:Okay. We don't want to lose sight of the examiner.

Killua:I'm more concerned with increasing the distance between us and Hisoka. Staying close to him is dangerous. I can smell it in the air.

Gon:Smell? I don't think he smell.

He looks back still running.

Gon:Leorio! Kurapika! Killua says that we should move up!

Killua:Hey, can't you feel the tension surrounding us?

Leorio:Moron!

We here Leorio in the distance.

Leorio:If I had the strength, I'd already be there!

Kurapika:Don't worry about us!

Gon:What?

Killua:Let's go, Gon, Akira.

Akira:You guys go ahead, I'm gonna make sure to check on Leorio and Kurapika.

Killua:Alright, we'll see you later.

He speeds up as Gon follows him.

*3rd person POV*

With Kurapika and Leorio.

They were following people in front of them, however they only saw the figures as they couldn't see them well due to the fog.

Kurapika:We can't even tell which way we're going.

Leorio:It's okay. As long as de don't lose sight of the ahead of us.

Suddenly the figures were decapitaded and they stop running.

Leorio:What's going on?!

Multiple floating strawberries surrounded them and a guy passed them but suddenly he fell and then he was lifted by a beast with long neck and a shell that had vines attached to the strawberries.

Leorio:This looks bad...

Multiple figures of the same beast appeared in the fog.

With Gon and Killua.

They were running as nobody else was near them.

Gon:I hear people screaming all around us.

Killua:Just stay on your guard.

Gon:I wonder if Kurapika and Leorio are okay.

Killua:Don't worry, Y/N went to check one them.

Gon:Yeah, you're right.

They suddenly stop when the floor beneath them falls and were consumed by a giant frog.

With Kurapika and Leorio.

Leorio was holding onto a three trunk as the beast was trying to bite it.

Kurapika:Leorio!

He jumps and grabs his two wooden swords and stabs the beast in the eye making it release the trunk as Leorio falls to the ground and Kurapika lands.
