Laura - Sorry I got lost
Teacher - That's ok Miss Lahey. Didn't expect more from a Lahey
She mumbles that last bit, but I heard it.
Laura - Wanna say that a bit louder. I didn't quite hear you.
Teacher - Nothing, go sit down
Laura - No
Teacher - Sit Down
She's about to lose her temper.
Laura - If you have a problem with me, let's go see the new principal... My mother, who always has my back.
Teacher - SIT DOWN NOW. I know what you Lahey's are like. You are disobedient, disrespectful and just down right....
Mother - Something the matter?
Laura - Something is the matter Mother, this teacher thinks just because our last name is Lahey, we all are bad because of Isaac.
Mother - Is there a problem with my family? Because if there is, I can have you fired.
Teacher - No ma'am. All good.
Mother - Laura, take your seat, I was about to introduce myself to your class.
Laura - Ok mother.
I take my seat.
Mother - Hello students. I'm Mrs. Lahey. Your new principal. All my respect and all my condolences go to Mr. Wetherbee. Anyway, I'm here to tell you, Friday, every Friday will be Pizza lunch and this Wednesday will be club day, you'll get to choose your extra curricular for the year.
Everyone cheers.
Mother - Some clubs are, the bulldogs football club run by Jason Blossom. The vixens cheer squad run by Cheryl Blossom. And some new clubs were told to me by parents' demands. Blue and Gold press run by Betty Cooper. If you would like to do it?
Betty - Omg, yes. Thank you.
Everyone claps.
Mother - Chess club, run by Jughead Jones.
Jughead - Are you serious?
Mother - Do you not want to do that?
Jughead - I was thinking a small book club
Mother - Ok, Book club, run by Jughead Jones
Everyone cheers.
Mother - And finally the theatre club run by Kevin Keller.
Everyone cheers once again. My mother leaves and we get back to class.
