I woke up at 10:00, it's a Saturday and I had nothing I needed to do
I walked downstairs, all the lights were off. Weird, the early birds would have turned them on by now
I went to turn them on but before I could they turned themselves on, all of my Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff friends jumped up from behind all the furniture and screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERMIONE"
"Thanks, guys this is sweet" I looked over to one of the tables, on it was a gigantic cake with green and red colours, presents of different sizes and some random party objects.

"We wanted to make your birthday ten times better than usual because you didn't get a proper one last year because if voldy" harry explained

Hermione and Ginny smiled at the same time "We worked on it together, trust me it's not easy designing and making a cake when you have no idea what it is" I was about to look over to Draco and remind him of that day in Slytherdor when I realised he wasn't there

the painting swung open and the person in question walked in "right here love" I smiled and thew my arms around him "happy birthday 'mione," he said softly

"I was getting something else ready"
"Okay, now let's open PRESENTSSSS," turning around, I made my way to the table
Everyone sat around the table while I opened them
Lavender gave me an outfit for the day, lucky I was still in my pyjamas, it was a red short skirt with a black crop top and accessories.

"ok well me red and pansy all worked together on this, they gave you the dress and everything, so, tonight we have a date, no I'm not telling you where yet, and I have this" he pulled a box out from his pocket "mother gave it to me and told me that when I find 'the one' I should give it to her... as a token of my love for her..."

he smiled, in a way I hadn't seen him before... like he was genuinely happy "here" he opened the box and showed me a diamond necklace
