"I said, who the fuck are you?" Kuya Ludwick walked towards Chase.

Nakatalikod si Chase sa kanya kaya hindi niya nakikita si kuya Ludwick. I was about to stop Chase from looking back but I was too late.

"Chase?!" Kuya Ludwick stopped in front of him.

Chase looked at me before looking back at kuya Ludwick. "Sorry, if we have to meet like this."

"Why are you here?!" Kuya Ludwick then looked at me. "Why are you together?!"

"Kuya, this is on me. You can ask me anything... Walang kasalanan si Chase dito."

"Wazzup Every–" natigilan si kuya Kaiden sa kalagitnaan ng paglalakad niya. May dala-dala pa siyang mga paper bag sa kamay niya pero parang nagulat siya nung makita ang taong kasama ko. "Si Chase ka di ba?"

Tumango naman si Chase. "Yes po. I am Chase."

Kuya Ludwick stared at me. He was not saying a word but I could feel my insides panicking. Kuya never looked at me this so intent.

"Let's talk inside the house." he stated and left us three standing in the empty field, looking at each other.

"Tara na," Kuya Kaiden waved his hand towards me and Chase as a sign to follow them inside the house.

Parang hihimatayin yata ako ngayon. Bakit ba nandito ang mga kuya ko? Akala ko ba pumayag sila na mag-isa lang ako na mag bakasyon dito sa rest house?

May pa surprise pala sila.

I could feel my hands shaking right now. I bite my nail while trying to think of how can I explain it to my kuyas.

I'm sure disappointed sila ngayon sa akin... Lalong-lalo na si kuya Ludwick.

Naramdaman ko bigla ang pag hawak ni Chase ng kamay ko. "Huwag ka ngang mataranta diyan, it's so not like you." Chase gave me an assuring smile.

"Paano 'to? Hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula mag explain sa kanila."

"Stop over thinking. Let's go." At naglakad na kami ni Chase papunta sa bahay.

"Shit," I whispered to myself.

Chase opens the door for the both of us since I couldn't act straight right now. Even just by twisting the doorknob, I couldn't do it properly.

My eyes roam around the place and there I saw kuya Ludwick standing near the fireplace while kuya Kaiden walked by in front of us, holding cans of beer.

"Kuya," I called kuya Ludwick's attention who was just standing, looking at the fire burning.

Hindi ko alam kung u-upo ba kami habang nag-uusap o will we remain standing? Kuya Ludwick, please say something.

"Bunso," tinawag ako ni kuya Kai. "Umupo nga kayo." sabi niya sa amin at sinunod naman namin siya.

Chase and I sat on the sofa while kuya Kaiden is sitting at the black rattan accent chair beside the sofa. Magkalapit lang si kuya Kaiden at Chase kaya inabotan niya ito ng alak.

"Have a drink."

Chase was about to get the beer but I stopped him from doing so. I glared at him so he refused kuya Kaiden's invite.

"Thank you na lang po." Chase politely stated.

"Sus, kung makapagbawal kay Chase... Girlfriend ka niya bunso?"

Sasagot na sana ako pero biglang nagsalita si kuya Ludwick at saka hinarap niya kami. "Talk."

I looked at Chase for a second and I was surprised that he looked sedate under the pressure of being questioned.
