Chapter Four

Will POV
  Nico was frantic. I had seen him upset at work, but nothing like this. He was calling for Phoenix and every time he rang his cell, it went straight to voicemail.
   "What if something happened?"  He asked, looking up at me with the worry only a worried sibling could.
   "He'll be fine Nico." I assured him, sitting down next to him and putting my arm over his shoulders.
  "But what if-" I cut him off by pressing my lips to his. At first it was bittersweet and rough, as if Nico didn't want to, but when I pulled away, he latched his arms around the back of my neck and pulled me into a tender, sweet kiss full of love and worry.
  We made out for a while, before a knock on the door interrupted it. Nico shot up, hoping it was Phoenix. He got more than just Phoenix. Damian was at the door, and Phoenix was leaning on him, a brace on his calf and a black eye.
  "What. The. Hell. Happened." He growled at Damian, and the tough looking teen looked timid all of a sudden, his bad boy demeanor gone.
  I watched as Nico pulled them inside, sat Phoenix at the table with an ice pack, and began the interrogation.
