I was very surprised when I stepped out of the elevator and saw Yugyeom standing there, on his phone.
"Yugyeom?" I called him, grabbing his attention.
He looked up in my direction, straightening his back and putting his phone away when he saw me.
"What are you doing here?" I ask, walking closer.
"I'm waiting for my hyung," He answered, the black cap and mask back on his face.
"Ahh-I see,"I say, slowing down my steps.
"Well then bye," I say, offering a little wave
"Wait! Hold up," Yugyeom said, grabbing my arm as I walk past him, preventing me from walking further.
"You still haven't answered me," He said.
"What?" I say, titling my head.
"Saturday night? Are you free?" Yugyeom asks.
"Oh. . .that. Maybe," I say teasingly, "What if I am free?"
"There's a festival in town for the weekend. I thought we could check it out since you like festivals a lot," Yugyeom said, letting go of my arm and shrugging his shoulders.
I stay silent for a while before asking with a teasing smile, "Did you search up summer festivals in town because I like them?"
"Wh-what? No! I mean kind of. Well I just," Yugyeom started, stuttering.
"It's okay. I'm just teasing you. What time?" I say, laughing a bit.
"What?" Yugyeom asked.
"What time should I meet you? Or maybe you don't want to hang out with me anymore," I say, teasing again.
"No! Yes! I mean yes. I do want to hang out with you," Yugyeom said.
I give him a weird look, still smiling, "Okay. Text me later okay? Have fun with your hyung."
"It's hyung and his girlfriend. I'm going there to third wheel," Yugyeom said, rolling his eyes.
"Then why are you going?" I ask.
"Because they want me to. They say its "Bonding time". I already know her well. She's nice. I just don't want to loose my eyes seeing them being all lovey dovey." Yugyeom complained and I laugh loudly at his misery.
"Well have fun. I'll see you on Saturday," I say, walking away and waving.
"Get home safely," Yugyeom told me, waving back at me.
"Bye!" I say, before leaving once more.
Once I'm out of the building, I begin to run quickly towards my bus stop, knowing that I'm already late for the bus. And luckily I make it right on time as the bus just pulls up in front right as I reach.
I try to control my panting as I enter the bus, forcing my way in since it was already overcrowded. I manage to fit myself somewhere in between, making sure I'm far not exactly squished in between two random people.
By the time I reach home, I feel tired both mentally and physically by the amount of people on the bus and by the suffocating atmosphere inside.
I freeze a bit before opening the door to my house. By the time I had reached back home on Saturday night, my parents were already asleep, and both them and my sister made a point to not bring up the topic of Suho the next morning.
