"Okay then. Can you just sign here and we'll tow your car to the nearest gas station," The guy from the highway help services told Yugyeom and he diligently signed it while I stood by his side.

As soon as we both had talked things through and had calmed down, the first thing we both did was to call the helpline services and explain our situation to them. Once that was done, I quickly called and give an update to Jiwon and Jihoon since they were probably wondering what happened to me.

Once all of that was done, all we had to do was wait for the helpline services to come and rescue us both, and they were with us in no time.

"This route used to be a very common way to travel back in the day but there was a freak accident here once which scared people away," The helpline service told us, "Ever since that time, no one really uses this route anymore."

I was curious and wanted to ask more about what kind of accident could possibly drive people away, but knowing how it would probably haunt me later, I decided not to ask.

"Thank you so much," I say instead and the guy just smiles at me in response.

"You can go ahead and sit in the car now," The guy told us and then headed to the front of the tow truck to sit next to his co-worker while Yugyeom and I headed towards his Audi and sat into it.

The helpline services will drive us to the nearest gas station, which they say is about fifteen to twenty minutes away and from there Yugyeom and I can go ahead on our own.

"I'm sorry," Yugyeom says when he is all buckled up.

"For what?" I ask.

"For all of this. You were right, the fuel indicator was blinking red for the past few days but I was just too lazy to really fill it up," Yugyeom explained, looking a bit guilty.

"Hey it's okay. I just said all of that because I was too mad and wasn't really thinking at the time," I say reaching over and making him look at me.

I smile and lean in to quickly peck his lips before pulling back.

Yugyeom smiles at me too and lifts his hand to tuck in a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

"You're a bit red right now," He tells me.

"Probably the heat," I say, pulling away and sinking into my seat.

"It looks pretty. It looks like you have make-up on," Yugyeom comments.

"That's because I do have make-up on," I tell him and his mouth opens into an 'oh' shape.

"Besides, I've never sat in a towed car before. It'll be a nice experience," I say.

Yugyeom snorts and says, "You're saying it as if its a life changing experience."

I laugh with him as the car begins to move and say, "Well maybe not the towing, but today has definitely been an interesting day."

Yugyeom laughs as well but then his laughter dies down and he turns to me, all serious.

"But what are you going to do?" Yugyeom asks me.

"What do you mean?" I ask, even though I know what he is talking about.

"Your friend. Are you going to confront her?" Yugyeom asked then sighed and said, "I know she is your friend and you probably know her better, but there is no way this was a honest mistake."

I look down at my lap, looking at my tangled hands. The moment I realized that I was left behind, I knew that Aeri had left me behind on purpose, but it hurt more when someone else said it.
