I roll over, starting to get annoyed
My sleep schedule had been better recently, I've been working on making it better.
However, today I had an energy drink, and now that it's 1AM, it's still keeping me energized.
I'm trying to stay off of my phone, I'm hopes that it won't keep me up all night.
I lay and stare at my wall, thoughts flowing through my head at a million miles per hour.
I continue my thoughts, when I hear my phone vibrate on my side table.
I grab it, and see a notification, realizing it was a text.

I smile at my lock screen, it being a picture of me and my best friend, Alex.
I quickly notice as well that the text, was from the one and only, Alex.
I open it, reading his message.

I smile at my phone and set it down, getting out from under my blankets and going to my closet.
Late night drives with Alex are always the best, we get to have the deepest talks, I get to hear him talk about streaming and doing what he loves, we're always cracking jokes, etc.
