As the sun set, everyone's nerves had calmed and they made their way back to the hotel. You walked back with Saiki. The weather was warm and the sun was slowly setting, painting everything with a thin layer of orange. It was serene. You enjoyed his company.
"By the way, Ku. When's your birthday?"

You gasped in excitement, turning to face him.
"Me too! We're twins!" You smiled, already brainstorming what you would get him.
Good grief.
After a few moments of silence, you finally spoke.
"Will you tell me the truth now? I promise I can handle it." A minute went by with no response. Frustration rose as you sped up ahead of him. He grabbed your hand. You turned to look at him, disappointed that an all knowing psychic couldn't even reject an average girl's confession.
His cold. purple eyes looked at you and you knew that he wanted you to stay. No telepathic messages. No words spoken. Just that look.
You matched his pace once again, walking back with him in silence. Somewhere in your heart, you knew that he didn't not like you.
