Lance didn't normally show his soft side, but after a while of getting to know the team it came out more and more. From the start you were the easiest to get along with. You were quiet, and liked to listen to other peoples problems, while also happy-go-lucky and easy going. Lance found that admirable and started hanging out with you the most. You became the duo, the best of friends, the humour-experimental two, and always had each others back. He didn't realize it at first, but Lance started to slowly like you more than a friend. Once he admitted it to himself, you became the only thing he could think about. But he figured it would just be easier to avoid a relationship and admire you from afar, like when you and Pidge were hanging out with Slav and you couldn't help but laugh at everything he said.
