LYRA laughed as she ran forward to evade Tony's talking of nonsense. They were taking a jog as Charlotte had slept over at Pepper and Rhodey's house. Tony had started spewing bullshit about something he had felt in a dream, and she found it hilarious how insistent he was about it.

Tony laughed as he followed her. "Slow down, slow down. I'm totally not kidding."

Lyra snorted. "You're totally rambling," she said over him.

Tony caught up with her. "No, I'm not."

Lyra turned to face him as they slowed to a walk. She grinned at him. "Lost me."

"Look, you know how you're having a dream, and in the dream you gotta pee?" Tony asked, eyebrows furrowed as he tried to explain.

"Yeah," Lyra nodded.

Tony smirked. "Okay, and then you're like, 'Oh my god, there's no bathroom, what am I gonna do?', 'Oh! Someone's watching,' M'gonna go in my pants.'"

Lyra caught on. "Right. And then you wake up, and in real life you actually have to pee."

Tony snapped his fingers excitedly. "Yes."

"Yeah. Everybody has that," Lyra said with a shrug.

"Right! That's the point I'm trying to make. Apropos of that, last night, I dreamt we had another kid. So real. We named him after your father. Honoring his wonderful legacy of getting us back together."

Lyra rolled her eyes. "Right."

"Owen, right? Owen would be his name."

"So you woke up, and thought that we were—"

"Expecting."

"Yeah."

Tony's eyes widened. "Yes?"

Lyra shook her head. "No."

Tony frowned as he grabbed her hands. "I had a dream about it. It was so real."

"If you wanted to have another kid, you wouldn't have done that," Lyra said, pulling her hands from his to unzip his jacket. Lyra frowned at the arc reactor sitting there again. Ever since Peter's mishap with the ferry, Tony had been worried. He wore that everyday now.

Tony grabbed her hands again, smiling. "I'm glad you brought this up, 'cause it's nothing. It's just a housing unit for nano particles."

"It's not helping your case, okay?" Lyra said with a smirk.

"No, no, it's an attachment, it's not a—"

"You don't need that."

"I know. I had the surgery. I'm just trying to protect us. The future uses, and that's it. Just in case there's a monster in the closet, instead of, you know—"
