Someone would pretend that you were imagine things. Or you would rub your eyes and blink a few times to be sure that the scene before you really happened. As unfortunate as it seemed. Every single gesture and most of all expressions on his normally cold looking face was real.

It was rare to see the Fleet Admiral Akainu acting like that. Hell everyone would say it wasn't possible at all that his lips could curl up to a slight smile. Not the dangerous smirk, which plastered his face after mocking someone for his ridiculous existence, or the moment he got news that a pirate was successfully executed. No, it was a soft one, a loving one. An extraordinary one.

Sengoku was one of the first to experience this scene and he was the reason that others, who couldn't believe his words, were coming to visit the grumpy Admiral to see it too.

Again the semi-retired Admiral Sengoku was standing outside at the balcony, amused of the many people which were standing before the annoyed Admiral and asking things to waste time.

Akainu's precious time.

He could already feel his irk mark which was slowly popping up on his forehead.
He was used that Kizaru was sitting lazily on his couch and drinking his tea like he had all time in the world, but that Kuzan also was leaning against the doorframe with this annoyed look he gladly would swipe out of his face, was something new. Normally they avoid seeing each other at all cost.
Beside that, Vice Admiral Tsuru was  the only one with a real reason to visit. Asking about some documents she needed, Akainu looked through some papers to find them.

"Don't you have some things to do?", his voice shot through the deadly silence and they knew exactly who was meant by that.

"Sorry Admiral. I just can't resist to visit for my daily tea time. I am so jealous. You always get served the best ones. Who is making it?", Kizaru asked while sipping the sweet liquid in delight.

"Non of your fucking business. Go back to your damn work.", Akainu growled pissed, while a marine rushed before his desk on high alert. God this day was really going on his nerves. Getting the news of Admiral Fujitora who let his hands glow of the immense hatred he felt, Akainu let his anger out by shouting his order in full rage like he used to do. Growling his hand grabbed the latest wanted poster of the straw hat and slowly let it burn till only black flakes were scattered on his table.

Tsuru gave Sengoku an annoyed look, as a sign that nothing was different at all, but still Sengoku smiled childishly back. They all started to believe that it was just a joke, a waste of time and nerves. And then out of nowhere a silent knock got everyone's attention. "Ah finally", Sengoku whispered amused towards his goat and patted her head happily.

"You better be worth my time...", Akainu spoke pissed towards the door and stopped midtracks after he noticed a familiar white marine dress. Stepping inside the young girl's eyes widened for a moment to see so many high ranked Admirals in Akainu's office. Hesitating she pressed the documents closer to her chest to deal with her starting shyness and made a short bow to show her respect.

"I am terribly sorry to disturb. I am here to deliver some documents.", her soft voice echoed through the heated moment and let others look at her stunned. This was really a sight to see. Not only was this girl unbelievable beautiful, she also was able to calm down the situation just by her sweet appearance. And god her voice sounded so flawless and innocent like an angel.
Sitting back down in his seat, Akainu sighed deeply and turned to the shy looking girl at his door.

"It's okay (Y/N). Come here.", Akainu spoke calmly and let the young girl smile. Quickly rushing to his side she placed some documents onto his table and started to discuss some orders. Akainu rolled back with his chair to give her enough space to look over the papers on his desk, while he was leaning forward and rested his head in one hand beside her small form to listen carefully to her words. How he loved to be this close to her. Observing her plumb lips which formed every sweet word and sounded so delightful. Her beautiful hair which framed her face perfectly. It was really something special to watch, than reading through one order than another.
Mouth agape the others watched the scene dumbfounded. Not only were they completely ignored by Akainu, he was also speaking with this girl in a soft and caring tone. Completely out of character for him. On top he took all the time they needed.
