Chapter one

Panchito lying with his beautiful companion still asleep. Jose looks so beautiful while he sleeps.
Panchito thought slowly caressing his partners cheek. Jose's breath hitched and his eyes fluttered open. He was met with his boyfriend's beautiful dark chocolate eyes.
"Bom día Panchie."
"Buenos días Jose."
They both share a quick peck and Panchito gets up and stretches. Jose admires his boyfriend blushing a bit.
"We should get downstairs and help mama cook breakfast."
"Do we really have to, we could just stay in bed."
Panchito laughs and pulls his boyfriend up.
"I am a guest y'know ."
"Well you do have a point."
Jose smiled proudly but was quickly yanked off the bed and thrown over Panchito's shoulder.
"Hey! Put me down!!"
Panchito ignored his boyfriend's protest and proceeded to walk down the hallway.
Panchito finally plopped his boyfriend down on the living room couch and snuggled next to him. Pedro came down to see the open affection between the two birds .
"Get a room."
Panchito nudged his brother with his elbow and chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah whatever."
Panchito walked toward the kitchen to see his mother cooking breakfast.
"Buenos día mamá."
"Morning panchito how was your sleep?"
"Good! You?"
"I slept very well."
"I'm gonna set up the plates mama."

Panchito grabbed a handful of plates and placed them on the table . His mother put food on each plate and called for panchitos father.
Everyone sat and began to eat. It was a very delicious breakfast to say the least and everyone got ready for their daily duties. Well except for Jose of course he had nothing to do he was a guest.

"Jose."
"Hm oh yes Mrs. González!?"
"Would you mind helping me out with the garden?"

Gardening! With bugs and dirt. I cant refuse since she asked so kindly but I hate dirt. Jose thought.

"Sure!" He said with a forced smile.
"Oh thank you so much!"

They both gather the gardening equipment and head for the backyard. The equipment was placed neatly and they began to work. After a while Jose actually enjoyed it. He thought it was quite relaxing. That is if the heat wasn't so unbearable. The sound of horse hooves on the dessert grounds were heard coming near. It was Panchito and his father. Jose couldn't help but stare at Panchito. His slim yet toned figure. His chest puffed out looking like a mighty rooster. Jose couldn't help but blush.

Panchito got off the horse putting it away in its stable. He walked over to Jose and his mother and smiled.

"Hola mi amor." He said placing a gentle peck on his cheek.
Jose's face began to feel warm.

"Ola panchie."
"You gardening with mama? Not something I thought you'd do?" Panchito chuckled.

"Well I like it. And your mom is such great company so." He giggled. Not something he really did often.

"Well just came to say that we might be going back home today to get your luggage ready."

"Really so soon?" Maria said disappointed.

"Yeah, I would like to stay much longer mama but I have work remember." Panchito said with a sad smile.

"Oh well then... y'know your papa and I have been planning to visit you!" She said in a cheery reply.

"Really?!"
"Sim!"
"Oh I would love for you two to visit!"

The drive back home felt a lot more shorter than on the way to Mexico. Both were asleep heads on each other. And soft snores from Panchito.
They finally arrive home , rubbing tired eyes.
They go in the apartment and plop down on the couch. Jose snuggled on Panchitos  chest sighing in comfort. Panchito wrapped his arms around Jose's waist and placed his chin on his head.
They both fall asleep with smiles on there faces...

There relationship was a fairy tale dream. Kisses and cuddles. Receiving flowers from each other. Singing songs to each other. That is until something happened. Something that changed their lives.

One day when Panchito came back from work he noticed that the apartment door was unlocked. He walked inside hearing soft sighs. He walked towards his room the sounds becoming louder. He went to grab the door knob but it was locked.
He never locks the door... Panchito thought.
He went to grab the key for the door until he heard a moan. He stopped frozen. His heart pounding fast in his chest. The worst was going on through his mind.
What is Jose doing is he with someone?!
He quickly grabbed they key and unlocked the door. And to his horror he saw Jose in bed with a woman Jose shot up from the bed shock his face.

"Zé... how could you..." Panchitos eyes began to water. Tears slowly going down his face.

"Panchie I- it's not what it looks like-"
"I better get going..." the girl said putting her clothes on. Leaving the room her shoulder brushed up against panchitos.

"Really Jose? How could you.."

"Panchito I just... I -"

"Just save it Jose I knew you never loved me." And with that Panchito stormed out the house.

How could he! I loved him so much I thought he did too..."

Jose sat in silence. In shame after what he had done. Damnit I ruined everything after promising Maria that I would love him.
Jose felt a rush of guilt. He promised Panchitos  mama that he would love him. And never hurt him. He broke that promise now they would never trust him ever again.
Jose cried in the pillow that smelled like panchito. His heart hurt. He hurt the one he loved...

Panchito walked down the dimly lit street still crying from the incident.
He didn't know where he was going he just walked not knowing what to do. While walking he bumped into someone and fell to the ground.
"Ow I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." Someone said with a soft panicked voice.
"No, no it's alright it's quite dark anyways."
Panchito reached out to the hand in front of him and was pulled up. He was met with gorgeous emerald eyes.
"I'm sorry for bumping into you..." the boy said with a bashful smile.
"No it's alright it fine don't worry about it ."
Panchito felt his face get warm. 
He is so... pretty...
