Chase tapped his pup tag and his cop cruiser drove up next to them. He jumped in. "Where is your vehicle?"

"At the Lookout at puphouse form," Zuma replied. "I came walking."

Chase pressed a button on his dashboard. The cones on the back of his vehicle submerged into the cruiser and a passenger seat appeared in its place. "Hop in," Chase said. Zuma did as he was told. Chase stepped on the gas pedal. The cruiser jerked forward. As they raced towards the Lookout, Chase said, "Zuma, try to contact Ryder. He needs to know about this." Chase swerved around some people and kept on going.

Zuma tried to contact Ryder's pup pad, but no one answered. "He's not picking up," he said.

Chase turned his head to look at him. "What?"

"He's not answering," Zuma said.

Chase turned back around and thought about it. He looked up and noticed that the robots were getting closer. Chase understood what was going on. "This is Harold Humdinger's doing," he told Zuma. "No doubt, he has Copycat on his side again."

"How can you be sure?" Zuma asked.

Chase pointed at the nearest robot. "Rockets appeared on the back of the robots, slowing them down. Those robots are Harold's creation. And notice how they're glowing. The only way that could happen is if he has the meteor's power, and who do you know has a meteor's power that's not us? But they're separating quite a lot from one another. They must have been ordered to surround the city or something." Chase's cruiser drove onto the road and made its way to the bridge.

"Okay, but what do we do?" Zuma asked. "Ryder won't answer."

"Try contacting the others."

Zuma tried. "They won't answer either."

"Something must be wrong," Chase said. He sped up as he crossed the bridge. He came to a stop in front of the door. They both jumped out and ran inside. Chase stopped as he found something on the ground.

"What is it?" Zuma asked.

"It's a note in Ryder's handwriting," Chase replied. "It says: GO UP THE ELEVATOR QUICK AND WAIT FOR ME TO CALL YOU-RYDER."

"What does that mean? Is he okay?" Zuma asked.

"I'm not sure, but we better hurry," Chase replied. They ran inside and entered the elevator. As soon as they did, they got dressed into the Mighty Pups suits and went up the tubes to the top. Once they got to the top, they looked around.

"No one's here," Zuma said.

"Something definitely happened," Chase said. Before he could say another word, the entire tower shook. Chase and Zuma lost their balance and fell.

"What was that?" Zuma asked as they got up.

"Let's find out," Chase said. They ran over to the edge and gasped. They saw Harold Humdinger's super vehicle tugging at the meteor. As the claw tugged at the meteor, the tower shook from the force. "No! If he takes the meteor, we lose our powers." After one last pull, the meteor was free. As soon as the meteor departed from the tower, the tower lost its glow. The meteor's power was disappearing.

"They took the meteor," Zuma told Chase. Chase was trying to on the monitor but it won't turn on.

Chase growled in frustration. "Can't believe they're back." He noticed Ryder's note on the ground. He walked over to it and picked it up and filled it around. "He wrote something else," Chase said. "There is an extra pup pad in the top drawer on the left of the monitor. Wait ten minutes before contacting me-Ryder."

Zuma ran over to the drawer and opened it. He picked up the tablet. "Got it," he said. They waited ten minutes before turning on the pup pad.

"Hello?" Chase said. "Anyone there?"

Ryder's face came up on the screen. "Hey, Chase. Glad you got my message."

"Are you hurt? Is anyone hurt?" Chase asked.

"We're okay," Ryder replied. He put the pups on the screen, who smiled and waved at Chase and Zuma. They both waved back.

"That's awesome, dude," Zuma said.

"Do you know where you're at?" Chase asked.

Ryder looked around. "Not really," he replied. "We're in a large cell in some type of cave. Put the screen on the big monitor."

"We can't," Zuma said. "When they took the meteor, the tower lost power."

"Have you tried the back-up generator?"

Chase felt dumb. "I, uh, kinda forgot about it," he replied.

Ryder laughed. "It's okay. On the right side of the monitor, there is a lever. You need to pull it up to start the generator." Chase gave the pup pad to Zuma and ran over to the lever. He pushed it up and the humming of the generator was heard. The lights and the big screen turned on. The screen was a light blue color.

"Done," Chase commented.

"Good, and you know how to connect the pup pad to the screen right?"

"Yes, we do, Ryder, sir," Chase said. Zuma walked over to the controls and connected a cable to the pup pad. He pressed a green button on the controls. The pup pad and the monitor shared the same screen. While Zuma did that, Ryder hacked into one of the two televisions that were in the top front corners of the cell and connected his pup pad to it. Now they could all see each other better. Zuma and Ryder backed up from the screen to get into view. He sat down in his original position, just like Chase was.

"Do you see us well?" asked Chase.

"Perfectly clear," Ryder said.

"Okay, so what do we do, Ryder?" Zuma asked. "We don't have our powers since Harold and that Copycat dude took the meteor."

"That also means that they are more powerful than before," Chase added.

Ryder looked down at Rocky, who was looking at the screen. "How many of them did you remember were finished?"

"I believe two, Ryder," Rocky replied.

"Two of what?" Chase asked.

Ryder looked up at the screen. "On the control panel, there should be a large green button with Chase's mighty pup tag on it. I need you to press it." Chase walked over to the control panel and found the button. It was green with Chase's pup tag, a dark blue shield with an image of a meteor on it. He pressed the button.

"Okay, now what?" Chase asked.

"Give it a second," Ryder said. All of a sudden, the button started sinking into the control panel, and a display box took its spot. "Okay, open it."

Chase opened the box and was surprised to see what was inside. Inside were nine slots and two of them were occupied. Under the slots, the nine mighty pup tags were shown. They went in the following order; Tuck, Ella, Everest, Marshall, Zuma, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, and Skye. The two that were occupied belonged to Chase and Zuma. Collars holding new pup tags were placed in the slots. Chase picked them both up and looked at Ryder. "New pup tags?"

Ryder nodded. "I figured that Harold may, one day, try to steal the meteor again. So Rocky and I created new pup tags."

Chase tossed the orange pup tag to Zuma. "But what is so special about these?" Zuma asked. "Don't they still need the meteor to work?"

"Not these," Ryder explained. "Rocky and I chipped off a piece from the meteor and placed them inside the pup tags. I thought about it when we first met Copycat. Seeing how he had his very own meteor piece in his mouth, I figured that the meteor could also work from the pup tags."

"How come I didn't know about this?" Chase asked.

"It was meant to be a surprise," Ryder said. "Rocky didn't know about it either until he caught me working on them. After that, he just started me with them."

"Oh, that makes sense," Chase commented. "So, they work like the meteor."

"In theory, yes," Ryder said.

"So you haven't tried them out yet?" Zuma asked.

"No, we never got the chance," Rocky explained. "Yours was just finished today."

Chase looked at Zuma and smiled. "Well, I guess we're going to be the first to use them."
