Genesis was sat on a rock in La Push her sisters friends had invited her to hang out for the day to which she accepted so that she could spend some time with Angela.
Jasper had told her to be careful around her sister, the Cullens think that Bella was the reason to why Tyler's van's break no longer worked
"Hello! Earth to Genesis?" Jessica stated waving her hand in front of the Korean girls to whom snapped out of her day dream
"Oh.... what were you saying again?" She asked watching the boys surfing yet failed miserably eventually they fell into the water then getting back on the board
"I keep thinking Eric is gonna ask me to prom" Angela sighed as she watched said boy laughing in the distance "then he just..... doesn't"
"You could always ask him your a strong independent woman Angela, take control" Genesis stated watching her friend become flustered not noticing the glare given to her by Bella
"BELLA! GENESIS!" Jacob black came running up towards them two other boys followed behind the smiling boy
"Guys, this is Jacob" Bella introduced jealously immediately overwhelmed her as she watched the three boys paying attention to Genesis
"Are you stalking us Jake?" Genesis asked laughing as the boy pulled her into a hug spinning her around "your on my Rez remember? You surfing?" He asked
"Oh no I can't swim you know that" Genesis exclaimed poking the boy on the forehead causing the other two to laugh at the gesture
"Bella's date bailed" Jessica stated "she invited Edward Cullen of all people" Isabella was now fuming at her friend
"Cullen? Isn't he with that Alice girl? Why would you invite him of all people? Damn I'm surprised Genesis didn't invite Jasper" Mike exclaimed causing said Korean girl to smile sadly
"Really?" One of Jacobs friends asked who soon introduced himself as Sam while the other boy was called Embry
"You know them?" Isabella asked then her eyes narrowed in curiosity as Embry took in a sharp breathe explaining that they don't come on the reservation
Bella got impatient yet soon turned her gaze to Jacob she seductively smiled at the male who looked quite uncomfortable both of them talked for a little while before walking away
"Hey Gen do you wanna come prom dress shopping with me and Jessica? Bella's coming but I don't think she will be good company" Angela asked
"Of course! I love shopping, I won't be buying a dress since Rosalie and Alice wanted to go next week but I'll happily tag along" The Raven haired girl smiled before turning her gaze back to the beach she didn't notice Embry and Sam standing next to her
"So your the vampire girl huh" Sam spoke first not taking a glance, Genesis narrowed her eyes wondering how he knew
"How did you....?" She trailed off as Embry laughed at her "you reek of leach Gen, you may not be a vampire but being mated to one and coming over here is risky"
"There is a reason why they don't come here, long ago our ancestors came across the 'cold ones' aka vampires who signed a treaty to stay off the Rez so that we wouldn't expose them" Sam explained growling as he knew that Bella would definitely ask about the legend
"Soo you guys are some supernatural creature I am guessing?" Genesis asked while throwing a rock towards the ocean hoping each rock she throws would go further away than the others
"We're wolves yet not werewolves we can shift whenever we want, we're known as shape shifters" Embry stated watching how Genesis had a knowing look within her eyes
