Genesis was being dragged by Isabella towards a meadow of flowers surrounded by the forest, and the exact same place where two blood related cousins would practice magic

"Why have you brought me here? How did you even find this place?" Genesis asked as she sat down on a flower bed, calmly picking up daisies and wildflowers to create a flower crown

"I-I thought Edward was here" Isabella mumbled sadly "he brought me here when he told me about him and his family being vampires"

The witch rolled her eyes in annoyance, of course Edward would bring her into a clearing especially to explain his weirdly sparkling skin that makes him look like a disco ball Jasper did the same with her

"I want to know what YOU and that fag of a cousin of yours are, I know your not human nor your mother" Isabella exclaimed pointing an accusing thinker towards the latter

Genesis was about to retort back but there was loud rustling noise coming from the woods, she quickly stood up taking a protective stance in front of her sister, she may hate her guts but she wouldn't forgive herself if Charlie's own flesh and blood got killed

The familiar figure of Laurent walked towards them his red eyes narrowed but soon turned into glee as he noticed the two girls he had met months ago during the Cullens baseball match

"Laurent? What are you doing here?" Isabella asked pushing her step sister to the side whom stumbled at the rough contact

"I must admit I didn't expect you both to be here" the dark skinned vampire exclaimed with a small smile yet Genesis noticed the hunger and bloodlust within his eyes

"I live here" Bella says with a smirk but soon turned into a look of confusion "I thought you were living in Alaska with Carlisle friend"

"Tanya I was, it was kind of him to arrange considering my association with James and Victoria 'the enemy'" Laurent replied as he slowly stalked towards the two girls

""You helped us" Genesis says watching how the vampire walked around them, assessing them as if they were his prey to which no she thinks that THEY are his prey

"I went to visit the Cullens, but their house is empty. I'm surprised they left you behind. Weren't you sort of a pet of theirs?" His gaze then turned to Genesis "and you a mate to one?"

"I am Jaspers mate" Genesis exclaimed with a small smile "they left because there was an incident on Isabella's birthday whom got a paper cut they left to cool down"

"Do they come and visit you often?" Laurent asked Bella, who looked to be in a bit of a daze "oh absolutely all the time" Bella lied "I'll tell them you stopped by, will they be able to reach you in Alaska?" She asked

"It's not nice to lie Isabella Swan" Laurent growled out Genesis mentally face palmed at her step sisters antics

"Tanya's "vegetarian"family was pleasant enough. But the dietary restrictions were difficult living on nothing but animals" he explained as he curled the two slower.... closer the two then noticed his dark red eyes

"Tell me Bella, Genesis do you both ever feel the need to.... cheat?" He asked as Bella tried to step away from the male she now know is a threat "I came back here as a favour of Victoria"

"Your still friends? After everything that's happened?" Genesis asked the dark skinned male who just shrugged

"More or less, she asked me to get the lay of the land with the Cullens because well.... I'm afraid Victoria is quite put out with you two" Laurent explained emotionlessly

"That's too bad" says Isabella her eyes anywhere but Laurent while Genesis took a defensive position her hands clenched together she did not want to use her powers in front of Isabella but..... it is Laurent after all

" Yes. She feels it's only fair to kill Edward's mate, given he killed hers Eye for an eye, mate for a mate but your not his mate are you? You just want their beauty. Money and power" Laurent laughed causing Isabella's face to redden in anger

"I AM HIS MATE!" She growled out " and besides Edward will know who did it, he'll come for you" Bella snaps at the vampire

"I don't think he will. After all, how much could you mean to him if he left you here unprotected? Victoria sent me here for information.She won't be happy about me killing you especially your sister" Laurent smirks walking up to the two girls With an evil glint within his ruby red orbs
