"Can you believe the likes of her?!" Genesis stated she was pacing in her room Nan-Joon sat on the bed his legs crossed skimming through a male fashion magazine.

When they arrived back home from the reservation Isabella started a tantrum on how it isn't fair that Genesis gets what she wants while she she be the favourite child since she is Charlie's flesh and blood

Nan-Joon was about to speak but froze as he heard the floorboard downstairs creaking slightly, no one except themselves and a sleeping Charlie Swan was in the house

Isabella had rushed out to go visit Jacob while Delilah was at the hospital with Sue Clearwater since the chief of police was investigating the case of a boy called Riley Biers who went missing a couple weeks ago.

"Oh my gosh! Is there a burglar?" Genesis gasped before pulling out two metal baseball bats from beneath her bed earning a confused look from her cousin

"What?" She asked her eyebrows raised "gotta protect yourself one way or another" with a shrug she opened her door Nan-Joon taking the lead as they silently make their way through the hall upstairs.

Slowly Genesis made her way down the stairs her right hand flared with fire while Nan-Joon had a blue hue around his own hands as they make a turn only to come face to face with Bella and Charlie talking

The door opened to reveal a happy Delilah followed by Jasper who immediately went to his mates side hugging her slightly yet careful not to squeeze too hard

"How have you been darlin' I gotta call from Paul saying that you and Joonie had left I almost broke the treaty because of you" Jasper whispered within her ear causing the Korean girl to blush slightly at his husky deep tone

"I was only hanging out with them plus they're basically family Major" the Korean girl replied noticing how the once amber eyes now turned pitch black

Major sniffed his mate only to scrunch his nose in disgust his eyebrow furrowed in confusion as he followed the smell around the house

"Something isn't right....." he muttered as he stopped at the table Charlie was using for the investigation to see Riley's face scratched out.

"What is it?" Isabella asked rudely yet was ignored as Major ran up the stairs, "bloody vampire" she hissed before stomping into the kitchen

Genesis made her way upstairs only to find her mate within her sisters room staring at the dream catcher Jacob had gotten her for her birthday

"What's wrong honey?" she asked slowly rubbing her hands on his shoulders squeezing slightly causing the male to groan in approval before turning around with a serious expression on his face

"Someone has been here....." was all he said before grabbing his phone out from his pocket before texting Carlisle about what he had discovered

It wasn't even minutes before the rest of the Cullen family had gotten into the Swan residence, Genesis was sat on his bed squeezing Jaspers hand for reassurance.

"Who was it? Was it someone we know?" Alice asked Tightly she was within Edwards arms who was trying to sooth the pixie haired girl since she did not see that this was going to occur.

"A stranger I didn't recognise their scent but I know it is male" Jasper replied back his fingers curling around Genesis's Raven black  hair

"A nomad passing through?" Esme said but it came out more as a question

"A passer by wouldn't have left Charlie alive" Rosalie pointed out, Bella was listening to their conversation a look of greed could be seen within her brown orbs

"Do you think Victoria is behind this?" Nan-Joon asked with a frown gaining everyone's attention  "I mean we did kill her mate so I suggest she wants revenge"

"It could be the Volturi" Edward spoke up watching as Isabella skipped across the room  sceptically Alice shook her head

"I don't think it's the Volturi either. I've been watching Aro's decisions, too" she sighed completely ignoring the human being within the room

"We also take shifts, guarding Genesis and Bella at the house" Carlisle said yet it was more of a demand

"Another protection detail? I mean I'll agree to protect Genesis, Charlie, Delilah and the babies but after everything the blood bag had done to us I don't like it" Rosalie sneered at the smirking human

"No, she's right. You can't protect me, watch my dad... ... and search for the intruder. And for Victoria. And keep yourselves Fed" Bella replied quickly just as Esme was about to confront Rosalie

"I'm not gonna let you starve. And I wouldn't be unprotected, I have..." She trailed off.... An idea occurring. She looks at Jasper, a tiny glimmer of optimism flashing on her face.

"NO ABSOLUTELY NOT! You will not become one of us you are not apart of the coven and never will be!" Rosalie sneered the only thing holding the blonde back from hurting Isabella was Emmett whispering soothing words in her ear.

Isabella turned to Alice and said  "you heard what those vampires in Italy said I WILL become a vampire wether you like it or not" the brunette then walked upstairs to her bedroom

Jasper shivered in disgust at the emotions coming off of the human bitch. Hunger, lust and wanting. It's a good job Edward could read her mind so that they know that all she wants is eternal beauty

"It's going to be alright honey.... let's call it a night I bet your starving" Genesis cooed grabbing her mates hand she took Jasper up to her room leaving her cousin with the other vampires
