Talking to the moon

I walk down the alleys
Every night, alone
Every path seems familiar
Yet so unknown
I don't know where these
Paths will lead me to
I don't even know if
I'll be lost or I'll find you
Cold breeze whispers in my ears
Can't we get disappear somewhere?
A broken heart is all I have
And I tried to fix the cracks
Thought time is the best healer
But as time passed by
All the wounds got deeper
I don't know if these
Wounds will ever heal
I don't even know if you'll
ever see what I feel
I don't know if I'm
running away from reality
But where can I go if
this is my destiny?
I don't know why
I can't stop loving you
Even if I try
Ironic, isn't it?
I don't know how did I
Fall in love with you
But when I did it ended up
Being so hard to love you
I don't know when it all started
Nor I know what the end will be
Pathetic how I still wish,
in the end, it'll be you and me
I waited for days, months, years
For hours and hours
I don't know if I should wait more
Or take this silence as the answer
Mind full of thoughts, walking in this
Empty road like a wandering soul
Didn't even realise when I came
across the place called home
Don't know why it doesn't feel like
The place where I belong
I don't know I have to bear
this for how long
Maybe one day all will come to an end
Before I can even have a chance
Please let me know what your love
feels like, at least just for once..........
