➽ Chapter Two

Mew POV

Just like any other normal day, after my last lecture, I helped my friends in their basketball club since they were missing a member today, I enjoy joining in different clubs, it's both fun and a way to learn all kind of things, which is way I didn't officially sign up for any other club, it stayed like that until a friend from the same year asked me to join hers

"please Mew, I need at least seven members to be accepted, it's a new club I decided to create along with my first year cousin"

"what kind of club is it?"

"it's exploration club, we go visit some abandoned or unknown places, to learn about their history and the things that happened there, it mostly has an outdoor activities and whenever we get time we will go to all sort of places all around our country"

"oh, sound really interesting, I also like exploring things and traveling around"

"me too, so please can you join in?" I thought for a minute

"sure, count me in" I signed the paper

"I'm still missing one member, if you met anyone who is willing to join contact me"

"I will, I promise" it's my first time hearing about such a club and I really find it interesting, going around visiting all kind of places is amazing, as a doctor I usually spend most of my time studying, locked up in the library or at home and each year becomes harder getting more work and starting next year, I will be locked up in the hospital for my practical experience so this club is perfect to get outside from time to time

Being impatient to start the club, I also started searching for our seventh member asking my friends and passing around the news, but since it's the middle of the year, all students had already joined different clubs, I knew it will be hard to find someone but I won't give up, I'm really looking forward to visiting old unknown places.

After three days of searching, I started to lose hope until someone caught my attention, I was on my way back to my faculty when I saw him walking out of the cafeteria with a headset looking ahead, I was feeling down for not finding someone, having so many friends didn't help me this time, suddenly some bright light shined on my face making me turn to face it, it was his headset that reflected the sun light on me.

I kept watching him while he slowly walked the opposite way, I never noticed him before, for some reason I immediately knew that he is a lonely boy and looked like someone who isn't social yet that didn't stop me from approaching him, I caught up and patted on his shoulder, he flinched stepping back glancing to me in shock

"sorry if I scared you" he quickly looked away

"it's fine... who are you?" he asked looking uninterested

"I'm Mew Suppasit, a third year in the Faculty of medicine, can I ask you a question?"

"go ahead" he said with a monotone voice

"did you join a club?"

"no and I'm not interested"

"oh come on, my friend is creating an exploration club and we are missing a member so please could you help us? It's going to be fun exploring all kind of places and traveling around our country"

"I'm sorry, I can't, I hate being surrounded by people, find someone else" he said bowed his head a little and started walking toward the engineering faculty, I was really stunned by his behavior, I met some introverts before but they weren't so closed up and unfriendly like this, there must be a reason for him to be antisocial, for me, this is a great challenge, even if I fail making him join the club, I want to be his friend at least
