Mew's POV

------------------------------------------

After deciding to help Gulf, I kept following him and dragging him around, I could tell he was trying to push me away, he kept acting coldly or ignoring me, I was a bit shocked when he yelled that time telling me to stop, when he mentioned his past, I got both worried and curious, he must have got hurt a lot which explain why he said he is afraid and was sure that I'm also scared but I'm not

It's true it's scary seeing things out of this world, a real human with a red eyes is beyond our imagination but it exist and I find it amazing, I even consider myself lucky for being able to actually see it, besides, it's just an eye color, like green or blue eyes, just because he has a new unique color doesn't make him look bad or anything, I'm curious on how he got that color, I want to know his story

During the exploration of the wooden house, he looked bored and uninterested but I'm sure one day, he will find it fun and exciting, he just need to visit a certain place that will awake his excited feelings, today we have another meeting to share the information of the books and notes we found, mine was a book about herbs and flowers

"what about you Gulf?" I asked as he placed the notebook he had on the table

"it's a diary, but it's not the first one, the writer is a female, she is a married woman and a mother to a little girl"

"oh that must be the woman we saw in the picture on the wall" Aya, the club president and my friend from the same faculty said

"I think so too" he younger cousin said

"she talked about how hard their life was during the war during 1940 and then how things got better after it ended on 1945, she must have talked more about the war in her previous diaries, she talked about her husband who build that wooden house where her baby girl was born, after that she mostly talked about the everyday life of her girl, Kanda, the last page was about going on their first trip when her daughter was around 10 years"

"where did they go?" another one asked

"she wrote that her husband arranged everything and kept it a secret as a surprise for her, she was sure it's a place close to both the sea and forest after seeing the preparation that her husband made"

"they must have been a very happy family, the husband must have loved his wife and daughter a lot" another member said

"I agree, the wife must have been truly happy writing about her daughter and her husband only, she didn't mention her own family right?" I asked

"no, maybe in her other diaries but this one"

"the husband is amazing, he managed to build that big house after suffering for years because of the war" Aya said

"he sure is, I can imagine how hard it was during that time for someone to build a house" her cousin added

"I'm kind of happy to know that some families during the years of the war managed to live peacefully later on and created families" another member said, I was glad to see Gulf talked a bit more and answering everyone's questions even though he is looking a bit annoyed but he didn't ignore anyone, after discussion more sharing the rest of information

"for our next exploration, everyone must choose at least one place and we will decided the most interesting one by our next meeting" Aya stated

"it's a great idea" I said feeling already excited about our next trip, we discussed a few things before leaving, I looked around but I couldn't find Gulf, he must have slipped away like always, I wonder what can I do to make him a tiny bit open and at least start talking to me a bit more, I've never had it hard communicating with others so I'm really stuck this time
