Hyerin's POV

I unknowingly plopped on my bed, lying down and staring at the white ceiling that was simpler than anything at the moment. Everything was so complicated at the moment. Sunghoon hanging out with someone else, my unknown feelings for him and grandfather's command of staying away from him. I don't know what I should do right now.

But was I actually jealous? Why does it feel like I was?

Shrugging le random thoughts away, I sighed getting up and putting on some acceptable clothes to get to practice. Even though I practice alone most of the time, I might have to see either of the two people on my way to the practice room since it was in the school. Sunghoon or Seohyun. Their names even match. What if they are just cousins and I'm jealous for nothing?

Lmao.

I silently made my way into the peaceful campus and to my surprise no one was there. Or maybe I didn't see anyone. On my way to the practice room, I saw the door of the practice room already open. Entering inside I saw the two people I wanted to see the least. But to add up to everything they weren't just doing anything. Sunghoon and Seohyun were dancing. Couple dance to be specific.

I felt my breathe slow down as I saw the two laugh and have fun. Wish I was in her place. "What are you doing here?" I said out coldly staring at Sunghoon who seemed a bit shocked or just pretended. "Oh uh we couldn't find any opened room, so we practiced for tomorrow's party here." Party? Practice?

I rolled my eyes at their excuse and ignored them making my way out of the classroom. I lost all inspiration to practice now. But someone stopped me by pulling my hand. "What is it?" I pushed away the tall guy's hands and avoided any eye contact with him. "You should come to tomorrow's party as well? Seohyun's dad is arranging it." Come to the party for what? So that you could make me feel uncomfortable by clinging onto your not so official girlfriend?

If only I could actually say that.

"No." Obviously I denied his offer. I had no wish to get myself involved with that girl's family. But Sunghoon is going there. I want to go as well. But he's going with Seohyun. Don't be weird Hyerin. Just stay in your safe zone. I turned around but deep inside I wanted the guy to stop me again.

"Hyerin please." He stopped me as I slightly felt satisfied. "Just come okay?" He said before leaving me all alone while I sighed. Guess I'll go with my heart than my brain.

Skipped practice again. Not really. I came up with brilliant moves at the small dance studio by the cafe that I worked at. Although it was uncomfortable.

Next day

Looking at my wardrobe I saw nothing but hoodies and tops. For god's sake I can't wear hoodie on a freaking party. That too Seohyun's. So I secretly went and grabbed one of my mom's dress and thankfully it fit me perfectly. Eyeing myself on the mirror, I felt the blue fabric nicely point out my curves and fit me as if it was made just for me. Been a while since I wore a dress and honestly this looks good even though it's different from my taste.

Guess I'm ready to go to the party.

Sunghoon's POV

I eagerly waited for the girl to make her entry at the party but it's been a while and she still didn't come. Maybe she won't. Gosh all my plans are failing or barely working. But I take it back as I saw Lee Hyerin entering the mansion wearing a blue dress. I opened my mouth to breathe and closed it again seeing the beautiful girl.

She was indeed very pretty. And nervous. I felt her tripping on her own heels as she awkwardly came inside. "Wow there Lee." I said out as she blankly stared at me and just walked past me. Totally wasn't going to ask her to dance. Guess she's gonna play hard to get right? Then let it be.

I grabbed Seohyun and went to dance together as the shocked girl soon played along and laughed. The music started as I brought the lady closer and showed some moves. The crowd cheered as I looked at Hyerin time to time. And she got fader and fader until I couldn't see her anymore.

Where did she go?

I stopped dancing and went to find Hyerin leaving Seohyun all alone. "Hyerin!" I shouted outside the hectic house. The outside was surprisingly very quiet and I could easily hear someone's heels clicking and guessed it was Hyerin. Like I expected the girl struggled to walk on her high heels and took it off. Carrying it on her hands, she sighed walking ahead while I followed her slowly.

She stopped, sighing again and looked down. My eyes widened as I saw her throwing both her shoes at two different directions with all her force and I quickly ran to her. "Hey you okay?" I pulled her to face me as I saw her red eyes catching my attention. She looked down backing away and letting go off my grip as I went closer to her. I noticed her light sniffles coming from her runny nose due to the cold.

I knew she wasn't crying but looking at her, she might cry any moment.

"What happened Hyerin?" I caressed her cheeks bringing her face closer to me as she looked up at me. "Do you still like me Sunghoon?" She ignored my question and questioned me instead catching me off guard. Her eyes, they looked so hurt yet so passionate. Did I go off board these few days?

"I do." I lied once again without hesitating.

"Then don't be like this. Don't confuse me. Stop making me jealous. Either stop liking me and be with Seohyun or be honest and stay by my side." She said out, a bit embarrased so the girl looked down as I smiled.

"Do you like me Hyerin?"
