I was running through the woods as fast as I could I didn't dare look back afraid that they would be right behind me
My eyes were burning from the tears that were trying to escape, my feet were hurting as I ran barefoot through the forest
My breathing was fast but my heart rate was faster it felt like it was going to explode but I didn't stop I needed to keep my promise to my parents that I would get as far away as possible
After a half an hour of running my legs become to weak, I found a little stream so I walked over and sat down and looked at my face in the reflection of the water, the tear's I tired so hard to hold back spilled out and ran down my face like a never ending waterfall.
No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the thought of what happened out of my head my whole clan was dead they were all gone
My mind kept replaying my parents last words to me were
"Ran as far as you can don't look back keep living your life to the fullest make friends, find the one person that makes you the happiest and get married and have kids just know whatever you do we will still love you and we will always look over you" my mother told me as her breathing slowed down then stop
I looked at my face in the stream tears still falling down my face, my eyes had become red and puffy.
"Why" I mumbled
"Why did you and dad step in front of the hit that was supposed to be for me you guys could have lived" I said as my voice cracked and more tears fell

I woke up from the heat of the sun on my face and the sound of birds chriping in the trees
I got up from were I was laying and started to walk on the dirt path I saw the other day
After walking for 20 minutes I saw a wall and gates I looked up at the sign and saw it was the hidden leaf village
