You've had enough of being ignored by everyone in the compound. So, when Wanda aka your mother is on a mission, you leave the tower. What happens when you are reported missing a week later?

Warnings - Neglect I guess, running away from home. Not sure if there's any others, let me know if there are.

A/N - Someone requested me to do a similar scenario to Not Wanted but I forgot who it was, hope this is to everyone's liking.

Living in the Avengers compound is tough and way to dramatic. Literally if no one is on missions, they're arguing among themselves over the silliest of things and to be frank, I've had enough. It doesn't help when my mother is one of them and is training my brothers to use their powers for the future. This is one of the worst parts about not being born with super powers or ridiculous amounts of knowledge like Tony or Bruce. I'm just a regular kid living in what feels like the wrong place. Oh, and I should let you know, because my mother is always either on missions or training my brothers, that never leaves time for me. In fact, no one has time for me in this stupid place. Which is why, I have decided to take the opportunity while mother is on a mission to leave the tower.

Mother is going to be gone a couple of days. My brothers will probably continue their training while she's away or just goof around. Either way, I don't bother with them much, mostly because they never seem to be interested just like everyone else. Anyway, after packing my bags, I place my cell phone on my bed and say to the AI, "JARVIS, if anyone asks can you tell them I'm heading out for a few hours?" "Of course, should I let anyone know you're leaving the building?" He asks. "No, that's okay. No one will probably care anyway." I answer and pick up my bag of stuff I am going to need and money which I have been saving.

After taking one last look around the room, I sigh and close the door and make my way out of the building. I'm just grateful I didn't pass anyone on the way out. Would have made the situation a lot more difficult. Anyway, I hop on a bus to absolutely anywhere and get off whenever I feel like. I quickly realise I am on the other side of New York and find a hotel that I can afford for a while. Between money from Tony and a few other people I saved over Christmas and my birthday, it is plenty to live on for a while if I use it properly. I even have a fake ID if needed since I will need to hide who I really am. Not that anyone will know anyway but just in case.

Eventually, I do find a hotel room that isn't fancy but liveable. It'll do for the time being. I place my things on the floor next to the bed and turn on the tv. Though it is quickly switched off as nothing interesting is on. But I do check the time on the news and it is now 7.30pm. I might as well go to the store round the corner and buy some food and something to drink.

When I get back, I turn the tv on once more to see if anything interesting has come on yet but nothing has so again, I switch it off. I yawn and decide there's nothing else to do but sleep until morning, and so I do.

Time skip

It has been a whole week now and I am getting rather bored but if I want to stay hidden from everyone, I need to lay low. It is morning and I have just gotten out of the shower. I turn on the tv to find the news channel on. Surprisingly, there are reports of a missing 17year old. Me. Damn, I need to disguise myself whenever I need to leave for the shop. The only things I can disguise myself with though is sun glasses, a cap and a scarf. Hopefully this will work.

Getting in and out of the store was easy but, on my way, back, I spotted Sam Wilson sat at a table outside a random coffee shop. He looks like he is on a mission, hopefully not to find me so all I need to do is act like everyone else and try not to raise suspicion. Thankfully, I manage to get back to the door of my hotel room. Only when I opened it, I was shocked to see Natasha Romanoff sitting on the bed looking rather angry or worried, I can't tell. "You and me seem to have a different meaning of a few hours y/n." She said glaring at me. "Why did you run off? Wanda is worried sick. In fact, she is so panicked her powers starting spiralling out of control! You need to get back and apologise to her for running off!"

After she finishes yelling at me, my only reaction is raising my eyebrow at her. Then I say, "No." "No? Give me one good reason why I shouldn't drag you back there myself and believe me I will if I have to." I sighed, might as well tell her the truth. "Because I'm exhausted. Mother never has time for me and sometimes it just feels like no one actually cares about me, including my own family. To be honest, I am sick of being constantly ignored. So, maybe that's why I left. And besides, I am 17years old. I can live anywhere I want without her consent." Natasha seems shocked by what I said.

What feels like ages but is only in fact a few minutes pass by, Natasha speaks up. "At least go to the Avengers compound and tell her what you want so she will stop worrying about you." "Fine. But I have to ask, did Sam see me come up here and that's how you knew I was living here the last week?" She nods in response to my question. I also knew she was right and I would have to go back with her and apologise to my mother.

Ending this one here. Let me know what you thought. I will most likely write a second part for this. Anyways, requests are STILL OPEN! Don't forget to VOTE! :)
