You have amnesia after a mission went wrong. You don't remember anything about being part of the Avengers or that your girlfriend is none other than Wanda Maximoff or that Natasha Romanoff adopted you. However, Natasha explains what happened and you remember everything except being in a relationship with Wanda. It's up to you to try and remember.
A/N - This is a completely new topic for me to write about, also I'm too tired to do research so it's probably very inaccurate so apologies in advance. I just hope this doesn't offend anyone. Also, this is more Natasha in this so I will create a second part with more Wanda if you all like this.
My eyes flutter open, only to be greeted with a blinding white light and what felt like a high-pitched beeping sound. The next thing I noticed was a strange feeling on the back of my shoulders, like something has been put there. When my eyes were fully opened, I turned to look at what the strange feeling was and let's just say it was not what I expected. I had wings. They were mostly white with a few black spots, almost like a snow leopard. The weird part is, I don't remember getting them or even where I am.
As if on cue, someone enters the room holding a clipboard. They were dressed like a doctor and that's when I realised, I was in a hospital. I was so focused on these new wings that I hadn't paid attention to where I was. "Hello y/n, my name is Dr Cho and I have a few questions." I stayed silent letting her continue. "First of all, do you remember what happened on the mission?" I raised my eyebrow. "Mission?" I questioned. She then writes something on her clipboard. Probably the fact I can't seem to remember what happened at all. "What day and year do you think it is y/n?" "Erm, it's 2014 and its almost Halloween, right?" She shakes her head. "No, it is August 2016." She said and writes once again on her clipboard. I was very confused at this point. "Anymore questions Doc?" I asked in the hopes she'd say no. "Just one." Then she surprisingly leaves the room. Did she forget to ask the question?
A few minutes later, she came back into the room with another girl. "Do you know who this is y/n?" She asked. The girl had brown hair, blue eyes and wore a long red leather looking coat. I try to concentrate to figure out if I know her but nothing comes to mind. "No, can't say I do." The girl looked upset by this and practically ran out of the room. "What's her problem?" I asked Dr Cho. "That was Wanda Maximoff aka your girlfriend. You really don't remember her?" I shook my head to say no. "Okay, well I'll fill you in. You joined the Avengers at around Christmas time in 2014. Not long after that, Wanda joined and the two of you got together after being friends for a year but I am sure she will remind you of your past as soon as I let you go which is now since there is nothing physically wrong with you."
Still confused, I thanked Dr Cho but before I left, someone else appeared in the room. A woman with red hair wearing all black and green eyes. I could only assume she was the Black Widow, one of the original Avengers. What confused me more was that she did not appear as cold hearted as everyone made her out to be. In fact, I was so shocked by how gentle she was being that I almost missed what she said. "I know you don't remember me y/n but after you joined the Avengers, I adopted you since you were almost 15 years old." "So... that makes you my mother?" I questioned. She nodded in response. "Want to go to your room?" "Sure."
We walked past a few corridors, turned a few corners and went up an elevator. When we got out, we walked along a single long corridor with doors on each side. She led me to what I assumed was my room and opened the door. The room had grey walls and a large double bed. It even had its own bathroom inside like an ensuite. "You know, that was the exact same expression on your face the first time you saw this room." Nat- or should I say, mom said.
One thing caught my attention. A photo on the bed side cabinet. It was of me and that girl that came into the hospital room before mom did. The one that ran out and the one Dr Cho claimed was my girlfriend. "I'm assuming Dr Cho told you that Wanda is your girlfriend?" I nod in response. "What happened to me? Why did I lose my memories? Where did these wings come from?" I questioned as I placed the photo back on the cabinet. "Well, we were on a mission in Germany and we were ambushed by Hydra, an evil organisation. One of the agents hit you across the head with a large hammer. No not Thor's." She said trying to make the situation seem better but I let her continue. "Anyway, I shot the guy that hit you and then for whatever reason it was over after that, they began retreating."
It takes a good few minutes for her words to fully sync in. then, I began to remember everything that happened. The mission, meeting mom and joining the Avengers. I even remember being friends with Wanda but not being in a relationship with her. They say it can take weeks, months or even years for someone's lost memory to return, but not mine. Once the flashbacks stopped, I turned to mom. "I remember. I remember everything. Everything, except being with Wanda." "Well, then, I am sure if you spend time with her, you will eventually remember that too." She's right. Wanda seemed pretty upset when I didn't remember her so, it's the least I can do to try and remember our relationship.
Ending this one here. Okay, so I feel like this is a bad one, but let me know. I want to write a second part with more of Wanda in since she wasn't actually in it long at all. What do you think, should I? Anyways, VOTE if you liked it and requests are OPEN! :)
