I couldn't move I felt caged
There was only one name ringing in my head
When I opened my eyes into nothingness
I felt the silence hugging me all around
Everywhere I could see lived darkness
Dressing up as black it stood
When I felt fingers searching for my arms
I realized it was him masking himself in the dark
When I heard him say he was leaving tears fled my eyes as fast as my heartbeats,
he whispered, "love as the clock ticks by I'll have to leave."
We stood there mending ourselves in the broken night
Our thoughts softened together along with it our lips combined
I heard him say in a hushed again
"love no one can love you the way I do."
My tears laughed at my misery
And our noses tickled each other
We Laughed with our eyes closed
as our tears sparkled amidst the gloomy nighttime
I cried for him to stay
He didn't oblige
With warm orbs, he talked to me
For one last time
I heard him say
"I'm sorry love for this farewell I have nothing to give but my heart will forever be a slave to you."
And I shuddered
When he left me there with a permanent void
When he had left me his warmth and the undeniable love I had for him
He gifted me everything he had
But not him
All at once, I felt myself crumbling down as pieces
And I heard the dark speak silence
when the strange beating of my heart made me feel lifeless
The dark found me again as I closed my eyes
Strangely enough, love comes at a price...
Why did you come only if you had to leave?
Why was I supposed to feel my love only for you?
If this is a game I lose then my love I'll happily do just for you ...
