Her grandpa went to her room unlocking the same sandook Ruchika wanted to unlock.

He found some paintings in it.
"Krishna made them for me " he remembered her saying.

He held them close to his chest crying helplessly.

18-year-old, Ruchika went to her grandpa. He was sitting on the sofa. She hugged him embracing him from his shoulders.

"Nanaji," she said smiling.

"What's up with my gudiya (doll)," he held her chin lovingly.

She blushed smiling wide "I want you to meet someone."

"Who?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"Krishna" she smiled "I love him grandpa please please he's a real nice guy-

"Okay okay," he laughed looking at her excitement "call him I'll meet him."

-
"Who's Krishna?"

"The guy I Love."

"How old were you when you met him?"

"I was five."

The conversation went on for an hour when Ruchika's grandpa got a chance to talk to the lady.

"She's suffering from Schizophrenia,"
the psychiatrist said after Ruchika's checkup.

"She has had a traumatic childhood experience, Mr. Singh, the disorder is genetic it has been triggered by her worst experiences, she's been confusing her imaginary world with the real for a long time now"

Ruchika's grandfather sat there in disbelief. After a long silence, he asked with tears in his eyes.
"Is there any cure madam?"

"There's no permanent cure for this one but treatment can help. We'll have to keep her in the hospital for a while."

Her grandpa took off his glasses and wiped his eyes but then
started crying miserably."My child why didn't I see your suffering."
He cried in his hands.

"Please Mr. Singh have some courage," the Doctor consoled him "we'll have to clear her memories it might help but we'll have to keep her in our care."

-

"What is your name?" the specialist asked.

"Ruchika Singh," she said her head connected to wires unknown to her.

"How do you know Krishna Ruchika?" Ruchika smiled at this.

"My grandma says he's the almighty and I should worship him and he will always protect me he will be there for me so I worshipped him but she also said a girl should always worship her husband," she giggled, "when I met Krishna I told him to marry me but he said he won't because I'm a kid but he will always be my friend and will always Protect me"

"When did you meet him?"

"I was five years old when I was beaten by my stepfather I was hid in a corner when he started beating mom" she trembled.

"It's okay Ruchika go on."

"Krishna came to hug me for the first time," a tear slipped her eye "I met him" she gasped, "I will love him forever"

"He's not going to stay with you Ruchika."

She furrowed her brows. "No, he won't leave." She shivered again.

"He's going to leave Ruchika he's not going to come back if you love him let him go."

"No, he won't leave me!" more tears left her eyes.
